EYR doesn't matter a toss how good a footballer he was. Look at ferguson. He was a **** footballer but best manager in the world so lets keep it real. Sousa is a lovely guy but thats not going to get us out of this division and I think the players need a kick up the #### with a stricter manager. Must go british this time!!

well
playes of world standing vey rarely make good managers read alex fergusions wikipedia read arsene wengers wikipediea
any body can get his football coaching badges
think of all the thousands of ex footballers
its about having the ability to psychologically get into someones mind
most footballers just havent got that special quality
thats why sousa was a ridiculous appointment he had no managerial experience in this division he was very unlikely to be successfull
and he made the most basic mistake ever
YOU DO NOT DROP YOPUR LEADING GOALSCORER

Darren Fergie has got P'boro out of two crap divisions where the standard is basically the same in both, yes he has done well but the proof is in the pudding next year (wherever he may be)
Darren Fergie has had it easy at P'boro never really been under pressure how would he cope at QPR where the pressure mounts within a few games?
Has Fergie got the ability to turn things round when it goes #### up? (as it always does at Rangers)
Im not convinced by him.

Sorry, DFE, you DO drop your leading goalscorer when he is out of form -- and any manager worth his salt will do that.
Dex had become very hit and miss in his goalscroing and his form.
Personally, I think Dex's time with us was running out the day RJ died -- affected his mindset too much, and he needed a fresh start from that day -- hopefully now he'll get it.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I for one am very pleased you did post this, W12. Thanks for that. It was very interesting to read this and just confirms much of what impressions I had of PS, that is to say a man of tremendous dignity and integrity, particularly demonstrated in the whole manner he handled his departure.
