Any new players should be bought by the manager! However I enjoy watching Taarabt because his skills are superb so I would sign him anyway but thats not to say we should the right thing to do would be to get the manager in first!
I loved watching Adel but we do already have Buz, so if it is only one then it has to be Cox. Simple fact is we need to score goals to win games and although not proven at this level, he looks to have a knack for finding the net.
We should be signing no players without a manager because however good they are they still may not fit into the new coaches plans and then they would be a waste of money like Borrowdale.
Saying that if we signed Taarabt I'd be over the moon!
If we sign Taarabt and Cox i will sing a Jackson 5 song
outside LR really really loud!
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
We can buy Cox or Tarrabdt without a manager, but anyone else has to be bought by a manager?
Surely a new manager and should come in and buy who he wants?
I think people are objecting to certain rumoured signings because they believe the players are no better than what we already have. Is Prattley better than Lopez, Mahon or Leigertwood? If not why are the club trying to sign him? In the cases of Cox and Taarabt they are better than a number of players in the squad so would strengthen the team. For this reason people aren't against the club signing them even though we don't have a manager.
Its a tough call you want the manager to sign the players but we also dont want to miss out on quality players if they are currently available ie Taraabt.
