  • Well what does this show

Looks like fans have voted with their feet and sending quite a clear message to the board that they have got their pricing structure completely wrong.

Do we think that had they made season tickets £400-£450 we would have smashed through the 10k barrier??

    I do.

100%! That's the price they should be. A lot more affordable and a lot more realistic for what you would get for your money.

Yep £500 is a tipping point for Tier 2 football.

All they had to do was to assure people that got a ST they would receive credits for all the promotions they do, that could be used on next seasons ST and they would have sold many more.

Fair point Paul, as we all know the mid week games when we get 10k, will be on offer for £10, £5 kids etc.
I will take advantage of these, whilst going most other games.

But had they shown "savvy" in their pricing I would have bought!

Have a look at the availability in the home end.

No. Whilst the prices are indeed unacceptable, please don't kid yourselves.

The idea of it being paid over 3 months was not pushed enough for supporters with financial difficulties.

Think the club will be bitterly disappointed we never reached 9,000 ST's and that might have something to do with the fact, why our activity in the transfer market has been less than envisaged

Yep, when I said this would happen months ago, the usual suspects said moaning blah, blah, rich owners blah blah, ST sales dont affect players in or out blah, blah. I would love to know how many of the 6,500 St's that have been sold are at full rate and are not U16 or free U8's as i think it is a low %.

Agreed on both point there Pete, though a lot of people on here seem to think that to be a true fan, we should pay whatever and support the team.
I have been going 24 years only missed a handful of games, but wont get taken the pees out of with these prices.
At a decent price I would have bought.

What are Palace charging for a team potentially having a ding dong relegation scrap of a season?

Fair enough, but many would come back March or April if it looked like we would make the Play offs or get promoted.

Good prices, that's all I know.

Certainly a lot less than your board are charging for a relegation battle.

Are they going to throw in free private healthcare for the neck-ache you're all gonna suffer?

My aunt a few years ago pay £1000 for a 5 year ticket at Selhurst which is obviously very good VFM but at the same time could be a reason why the club had financial problems. An adult paying less than £9 a match although good for her is not good for the coffers.
