How do you know this? Where have you heard that NW doesn't rate him? He started the season well, had an injury and for some reason (contract?) that man in the yellow slippers was in......

Perhaps we made an offer and it's pending on the basis that he wants to do pre-season with arsenal and try and make an impact. If he's told in the build up to the season he won't feature, then we could be back in. After a season with us and some experience under his belt his only chance to impress Wenger would be in pre-season training. I don't blame him for giving it a shot


As the Premier Clubs get their targets and set their squads that's when the activity happens. I's rather wait until the end of the window and get the right player than buy players now and get someone who's no better than the ones we've got

Im sure im not the only one who noticed simpson didnt start alot when warnock showed up, used towards the end of the season more as a sub...

Simpson isnt his type of player, simple as, simpson was good but he was hardly the most natural goalscorer ever...

As much as i liked him, im not too upset if he doesnt come back..
