Okay, its only a small thing the players already are fitter and meaner than before and i'd bet he has got more respect from the players than anyone before him. Players nowadays need a good a leader as many take playing football for granted.
he might have respect, they might be fitter, but half are still below standard, also we haven't learnt by our mistakes have we.

Pete I agree we needed a leader and I think Derry can do a job.

How about no Simpson upfront, Tosic replaced by a painfully slow centre back and still no sign of quality upfront? over to you?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

But Simpson will be replaced and whilst Derry and Hill are not the players I'd go for, they are leaders and we had none last season

          Exactly my point!

No one is questioning Neil warnock as he is a proven manager who is brilliant.

However some seem to think he can turn water into wine.

He is NOT getting the backing I expected he would get.

Yes he got some palace players who are in there 30's but missed out on his fav players, ambrose and speroni. I don't think the transfer kitty is there for him if i'm being honest!

they are certainly taking their time getting a striker in, because he hasn't arrived yet, clarke aint the answer, never will be, not HH or aggy.

no offence pete im in your boat but it sounds like youre trying to reassure yourself about the season i think itll go well but i dont think a great striker will be signed
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

I'd put money on us getting a striker, though as shown by us not bidding foir players like Prattley its going to be players on a free or compartive small transfer fee. Problem is we have a wage cap which won't be altered and prudent owners

i've met nuns that are not as tight as them, but that's a different message board.

End of the day we have around 7,000 season ticket holders, not making excuses but we are hardly a big club in this division.

The fact we are financially secure in the current football climate is number one priority.

Many are writing off the season, before a ball has even been kicked

Pete when you talk like this you don't feel me with any confidence.

The truth of the matter is, that you are just as deflated as the rest of us.
