Surely even looking at the recent history of QPR would tell you that if you stopped, had a look and thought for a second?

Firstly, the RECENT damage done by the Super Agent GP and his cronies will take a while to sort out. You cannot end 4 year contracts overnight blah, blah, blah.
Secondly, I would much rather have a bit of investment into the FUTURE of this club (you know -- when you haven't got a "teen" after your age) - that way we'll be producing players and have some foundations before we put the roof on.

I could go on but people who want £10m lashed out here and there will never get it.
To you success will be spending £60m to get the club promoted and then another £100m trying to stay up - if you think that is a great model to follow even with the mind boggling wealth of our owners then you really do need to work harder at school.

Finally -- I would never question the motives of a man who is prepared to wait patiently in The Springbok to get served, chooses to sit in the away end on a freezing cold Tuesday night or who realises GP needs to stay away from transfers!!! I'm happy to leave Amit running things his way and not to the mindless demands of the spoilt generation.

    Bring on the new season.

Absolutely first class post mate, I wholeheartedly agree with every word and sentiment.

And of course, up til this point, ignored in all the replies posted since. Spoilt is putting it politely.

Are you Happy with our strike force? If you are happy to pay over priced tickets for terrible football then that is your choice. I have supported QPR longer than yourself and been to so many games but is it wrong to want some fu cking success???????
I've been going since 1984. 1st game at Highbury in Europe and I've still got the flat cap to prove it. I've been going home and away since I could afford it and before that my dad and uncles used to take me. I've always been happy to spend my money on Rangers, so yes - I'm happy, no matter what. And don't tell me you've 'supported' Ragers longer mate as you haven't. You may have followed us, but you yourself admitted the main reason you went was because you kept getting free tickets, so consider our over priced ones as taking back what you free loaded before. I've had one free ticket in my life, and that was last season. Other than that, buying a season hasn't been a problem as it's the only way to keep the club going.

Again, stop banging on about the strike force. How many more times...he's looking to bring more strikers in. As I say, you keep moaning for the sake of it. Also, as I've said, which was also pointed out by another poster, where has it been shown the Mittals won't spend? They've backed NW with whoever he's wanted so far. Taarabt clearly didn't want to come. I bet he's allowed to use that cash on a striker, and is probably trying to tie a deal up now. Seriously, stop moaning for the sake of it. We're making more progress than we have over the last 10 years, yet it's still not enough. We all want the best players, but let's remember...we're not a big club, so we have to watch what we spend or else we'll end up ruined financially.
      Your mum would love me...

Just because someone differs in opinion to you LBlock, and justifyably so; what gives you the right to claim these people are "impatient teenager's"

The Mittals have been a nice change to the underhand running of the club that was evident in the Paladini/Briatore reign, but they have done little or nothing to help "bring" fans back and still we sit here with the 8th highest season ticket prices in the country; to watch Doncaster Rovers and Crystal Palace.

Also up till now there has been little or no investement into the future, the COE is the same and we have no plans for an academy. So not quite sure where investement in the future is.. Unless you call a few chandliers (sp) and funky press rooms, the future.

So how do you feel if I was to end by saying

"I cant wait till the the day when these old fossils, supporting Rangers; (you know, the ones whom refuse to move with the times and whose age nearing retirement); understand that short term succcess can breed long term success if done correctly" I.e Fulham CCC to Prem.

I only got about 7 free tickets last season but I too have always paid to watch Rangers and that season was a 1 off.

We are about the same age, I think I am a year older than you so I too also started watching Rangers about the same time as you did.

I have been a very loyal fan and even been to games like Grimsby at home on a cold wet horrible day, so I just laugh if people think I am a glory hunter.

Wanting a little success isn't asking to much but I won't get my hopes up because like Jeffro said we aren't showing the ambition needed for a promotion push, saying all that I think we would both love to be proved wrong.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Bennyboys, disagree with what NW wanted he could have. We don't know the number of players he actually wanted, we know what we have got. Could be wrong but most of them are free

Even if we don't sign any strikers I'm willing to give helguson, Clarke, mackie and agyemang a chance! What's the point in moaning about it?

Now we have the right manager and owners in charge I'm willing to back who ever pulls on those blue and White hoops.

Some people talk like it's our god given right to spend 20 million and steamroller this division. Wake up!

I don't crave success or the premiership, I'm just happy and proud to support queens park rangers

See this is where we differ.

I aint willing, to give leeches that are currently raping our club for 15k a week and putting exactly zero effort in; another chance.

Vine, Agyemang, Hall dont deserve another chance, if they were decent enough they would at lease put effort in, or go to a level which suits their ability, i.e The Conference.

You're missing the point mate. You're having a pop at the Mittals, yet they've backed NW so far. We had an offer acceped for around £2-2.5m for Taarabt, but he's go other plans. The thing is, every time the press say we've got £10m to spend, we tend to fall for it and believe it'll happen. We are a small club which needs to be run like one, or else we'll fold. We can't have the players that Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have as we don't generate that sort of income.

Sure, if we spend £10m and go up, it's worthwhile. Not completely as we're then left with a large amount of assets who may not be good enough for the Prem, but at least we get a big payoff for getting there. But caution to the wind...we spend £10m and fail to gain promotion...well, we're in deep s**t.

How can you disagree with something I've not said? Donut.

What I said was that they've backed him so far. They gave him Kenny and Mackie. They allowed him to bid for Taarabt. They may let him use the Taarabt fund to let him buy a good striker.

It's always better to actually read a post before disagreeing with it mate.

Benny we have spent 1.25m are you happy with that and do you think 1.25m is acceptable for a club giving fans positive vibes?

All this we have bid for tarabt is nonsense mate.

If you think like that then maybe I am not the only person who follows what the press come out with to closely.

Apparently we bid 1.8m for Mcnuff yet reading say they had NOT receieved an offer.

I am happy for bargains and frees but when it comes to strikers we must pay the going rate for some quality.

Still six weeks or so till the window closes m8, it can be difficult to get in the players you want, a lot of time goes down to the wire, blame the agents there out to get the best deals for their clients, no amount of moaning will change that.
