AND THANK YOU ROWAN VINE FOR GIVING ME SO MUCH EXITEMENT WHEN YOU RUN AT DEFENDERS,BUT YOU MUST TAKE A PLUMBERS COURSE AS YOU CONTEMPLATE PART TIME FOOTBALL.
he could go tiling with his other luton mate tony thorpe
mr rowan vine has 'failed' to live up to expectations at every club he has played at..therfore i must come to thus conclusion factomentus!!!!!..........rowna vine is s.................hit!!
2 years left on his current deal. I'm sure he will be happy to sit in the reserves and collect his 17k a week for the next 2 years! He dosent care about his career anymore, its just about money now. I just wish all rangers fans would have seen ' captain ' vine's performance against borehamwood. U would have been disgusted.

I used to stick up for him, cos of the horrific injury he sustained, but enough is enough, he's had plenty of time to come to terms with it and also get fit.
Prehaps he now has little pride in himself and is going to see out his contract doing fa.
Stan the thing is, if you look at our strike force, I just can't help but want to keep giving him chance after chance to improve himself. He has been a very good player and has not really shown that in the last 2 years but when I look at our options I think we need to persist. IMHO he is better 50 fit than Aygmang, Helguson, Pellicori and Clarke although I am happy to give the latter a chance.

TBH mate,i really fear for our season with the strikers we have.
If Vine is considered one of our better options then we are in big trouble.
"We all have very different opinions on players. And personally i have never been a fan of Rowan.Decent player but not a great player IMHO mate"
Fair enough, i didn't say he was a great player, lets face it since the lates 70's you can count them on one hand. he was though very good in terms of the championship and I think your view that he was overrated would certainly be a minority one prior to his injury.
I do agree that he has had his chances and has never come close to looking like he did before, I was one who called for him to be given time last season but sadly it doesnt look like his attitude is right anymore, doubt we will be able to offload him easily though.
I also fear for us this season unless we bring in more firepower, anyone pinning homes on our youngsters coming through and doing the business are basing the thought more on hope than judgement
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
