I'm just... "interested". Your club is either going to excel, or rapidly decline. I'd like to be able to see what happens. I suppose that because Derry and Hill and Warnock were well liked at Palace, despite their limitations, I'd like to see them do well for you.
It's not really trying to prove that Palace are a bigger club than QPR, obviously none of us are ever going to concede defeat. In the same way, some of you apparently seem to think that Victor Moses is nothing special. Obviously, Palace fans have seen him play, and know that he will go very far indeed. QPR fans probably haven't, so you probably can't understand what all the fuss is about.
The claim that we've had 2 future England players in the last year probably seems stupid to you; but it's actually very possible. Clyne and Moses have both played regularly for England already, in the Youth teams (Clyne is at the U-19's atm). Obviously you're likely to doubt that, but it's a matter of opinon.
I think "interesting" is the right word. I'm interested in your club. But it's not a rivalry.

Even when we were in the prem and for a long time one of the top teams in the country, we classed ourselves as being an average size club neither big nor small.
Its a pity we dropped out of the prem when a little while after, clubs started getting massive amounts of cash from sky, I'm sure that would have made us a lot bigger club, just look what charlton did with there stadium with the sky cash. They seek him here.................

Mate anyone who lives in the real world and is a qpr or a palace fan should just concede neither are big clubs.
Matthew Connolly, Mancienne, Blackstock all played Under-21 football whilst at QPR. I think if Moses were to come to us he'd be an excellent acquisition. I may have only seen him play a handful of times but Warnock wouldn't want him back if he didn't rate him and I trust his judgement.
I also can't see us being in any kind of decline, we stay as we are by the end of the window we will finish around mid-table. I believe our main problem hasn't been the calibre of players we have had at the club as last season saw us get in Watson and Reid on loan, players who ended up playing for a team that finished second in the league, but has been our lack of stability within the boardroom and management.
We get in 3-4 signings and we will be in and around the play-offs, think Boro and one of Forest or Burnley have automatic in the bag tbh.15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Moses was the best player in the u18's, u19's, and probably the u-21's.
Clyne is the best defender in the u19's, and was in the u18's.
Also, how many Premier League clubs had serious bids turned down for Blackstock/Camp?
I would bet my house on both of these playing for England, as long as they don't do anything REALLY stupid.

Your squad, I am lead to believe, is weaker than it was last season?
How can you expect to finish Mid-table, if you only just did that last season, and your now light of a LOT of goals?

Eagle I agree that clyne and Moses are decent players who would both get into every team in championship, however look at the players that are border line England. Walcot gosling Micah richards Roswell are playing week in week out and our better players then clyne and Moses. Don't get me wrong i rate bothof them but clyne has more chance then Moses.if Moses was that quality he would be a reg for wigan. Agree or not?
