Quaz make sure jams sees this m8.
    Very doubtful.

Also, the only article is in the Mirror, which isn't saying he has been sold.
The Mirror is saying that Birmingham are returning with an improved offer of £2m.

I'm not not sure where you've got the "sold" part.

He's also abroad with the u19's at the moment, and his agent isn't with him. How could he sign any contract, when he's not in the country?

EDIT - The guy who wrote that article in the Mirror is a Brighton fan, who has already reported that several of our players (e.g. Ambrose, Speroni, Clyne) are ALL set to leave, and this was weeks ago. He writes such piles of ****, you can't take anything he says seriously

      Your grammar is awful.

Chortletown are not, and never will be a bigger club than us.

However, their recent Premier League stint was far more impressive than your current record.

      • Oh; and ALSO... George Burley said that Brum's valuation of Clyne at £1.75 million was WAY OFF, and NOWHERE NEAR his actual value.

I'm sorry; but I refuse to believe that an extra £250k would convince him to sell the best defender in the League.

Although, if he does go for anything over £3m, it will allow us to strength our squad in other areas. Probably won't happen though.

I can't see Clyne wanting to be a BACK-UP, I can see him wanting to play first team football.

        • Eagle lets be realistic. Clyne will go if the offers around the 2 million mark. He may be in the top 10 defenders in the league but the best he is not. You palace lot think hes special because you watch him alot, 1.75 million is not way off at all. its a platform to get him for just over 2 mill.

            *sigh*

Sky Sports rated him at currently worth £4m, and potentially worth £16m.

They think, as do I, that he's the best defender in the League.

Which other defender in this League could keep Ashley Young in their pocket over two games?

            • Its what prem clubs rate him at, not sky sports.

If this is true and he is sold, that could mean more to follow.
              They seek him here.................

                • Best defender, thats why he spent last seasons ending on the bench for you!!!
                  Taarabt would have raped him.

                  • "Potentially worth 16m". Where, pray, does this b.llocks arise from?

                    • Hasn't he gone to Birmingham for £2m?

                      • Also our chairman put a 10m asking price on Sh!ttu and Cook. What did we get? 2.5m each. People put these prices on to up the offer and you aren't gonna get 5m + for him

Not really, it just shows up Colin's unwillingness to play a passing game with youth and pace.

Taarabt would not have, as said Clyne kept Ashley Young in his pocket for two games. Besides, it doesn't even matter now since Taarabt's not an R!

Oh, and the 'potentially worth 16m' comes from the fact he's the next Ashley Cole.

He was on the bench when we played you and BEAT you convincingly at your dump, and Paul Hart was the manager.
From memory he was getting splinters for a few games after that too.

Yes, because he had just returned from an injury...

                              • Hardly.. He came on against us and looked poor. Not sure what all the fuss is about to be honest. Danny Butterfield is a better player.
