Seems the happy pills are wearing off on some on here. Or possibly they are causing severe side effects (delusions and psychotic episodes)! All of the temas listed are better than us at present. Could add Doncaster and probably even Norwich to it. It is unarguable that we are going to struggle for goals unless something happens in the next 21 days to sort it out. I hope that will happen but till it does young VBlock is spot on.

Not deluded at all, just think some you guys don't have a scooby doo about footie, some of your throw backs to answers are awful, norwich is a joke, ched evans, please, even the reading 3, that's the same as us listing faurlin and buszacky and conolly.
You missed my point all together, each team has 2 - 3 class players weather they are upfront or midfield, and then a mass of ok relieable championship players.
Our weakness is upfront but others have weaknesses in other areas...
Have you actually looked at some of the players at bristol, norwich, leicster, leeds.... have a good look and compare to us, instead of just prusuming and pulling out the obvious...

Er, and that's not delusional!. Get a grip please. Of the 11 listed here 10 of them finished above us last year, three coming down from the Prem. And we have got worse close season not better, having shed the scorers of nearly half our goals and not replaced them. These are facts not opinions. Yes I've had a good look at the teams you mentioned. I'm amazed at the silliness of the lit. Out of everyone last year Leicester gave us the most forensic annihilation we had. Do you watch the games before you wax on?!!! Seems not.
We were in real trouble last year and it was really only after the Palace game (when the relegation spots were sorted and everyone tool their feet of the pedal ) that we picked up the points that flattered us and moved us up the table. All of these are better [placed to do it again. You point to any of them that does not have a player that scored more than 10 last year - as that is the position we are in. Go on son.

Hmm - we conceded something like 64 goals as well. Which I think is more than (or certainly no better than) anyone above us. So we haven't really made up for it with our supa dupa defence or midfield either have we. The truth is a harsh bitch.
I am not dissing rangers but we should all operate in the real world.

I agree with some of the things you are saying but what i am saying is the club was again a state last year, all the changes and behind the scenes nonsense going on it effected us deeply. It was clear to see the players lost interest and passion.
I feel you are assessing this years potential on last seasons misfortunes and behind the scenes unrest and dismay, which resulted in poor displays.
Look at what we achieved when magilton came in at the begining of the campaign, we have the majority of those players still do we not, Routledge yes has gone and he was a cracking player and not easily replaced.....
Taarbat is not around aswell and again a key player and simpsons gone and I know this freaks you out as yes that is alot of goals missing, but the other players are still there and it is a team game, and warnock is going to add before the season starts. You will see helguson and some of the youngsters come through this year, just from having stabillity and confidence rooted in them.
The players will be in a completely different state of mind this season with stability and leadership qualities installed in them, which went missing after magilton left. We will be far more competative and have far less distractions and I assure you with the squad we have we will give most teams a game.
I'm not surprised half those teams finished above us, they didnt have half the drama going on at there clubs as we did.
It will be a different kettle of fish this year mate and we are as good as a lot of teams in this division, and when warnock adds that extra fire power in next few weeks we are going to have a great shout.
As for the leicster game it happens mate, even man u lose 5 - 0 sometimes or end up on the result of a hiding, we destroyed deby and a couple of teams when we was united.
Anyways stanley 75 this is just my opinion and I respect yours and understand your frustrations and why you have arrived at your conclusion, but I definately am much more optimistic.

I really dont think you appreciate the word stability or take into account what the hell was going on at our club last year, how it effected the players....God knows how many managers in the last 24 months...It all takes its effects and players come disinterested, disillusioned and dis heartened, which was clear to see from the performances.
You see conolly, gorkks, ramage, stewert, legs this year in the back four with kenny behind them, all playing with confidence and knowledge of a settled base and a brilliant manager we wont let in nearly as many goals next year.
Watch player like epriham, mackie, derry, hill, faurlin all play with heart and stength and desire, then add buszacky and maybe one or two additions to chip in with a few goals and mate we have a solid team...
We saw QPR when they were settled at the beginning of the year we were sitting 4th. Were not too different from that team and I bet warnock knows that, thats why hes looking for a rw, 1 or 2 strikers and a rb, to complete the jigsaw.

OK. I have no difficulty with that. It is a perfectly reasonable line of argument. Simply seems you have a lot more faith in Warnock's abilities than me. Hope you're right. Don't think you are but no one would ne happier eatimng humble pie than me.
Close season is a funny old time as we tend to forget some of the good and most of the bad and project ahead what we want (sometime in spite of what is likely). England in the World cup is a prime example. I am afraid my own perspective is getting more and more pessimistic. And trust me this is not like me (I have oft been accused of fanciful optimism myself). It's just watching them sometimes last year was not much short of dreadful sometimes (the corner was turned for me at the Watford away game) and we seem to be going backwards. Sending back Matt Hill seems the best thing we've done close season - how sad is that!
But onwards and upwards. Possibly. You couldn't say probably.

Your last one crossed with mine. So sorry to pull you up again but some of that is highly questionable. Not least as your team has at least 12 players in it. You also seem to have made our new left back into a midfielder. We will simply have to disagree about Hogan though I am still left wondering if you saw the R's at all last year if you are saying he just lacked a bit of direction.
Bottom line is you have set out a back 9 who are variously OK but your argument still totally totally relies on the "missing piece of the jigsaw" i.e. someone to score goals. We don't have that magic talisman yet and no real sign we are getting one so the house of cards is looking distinctly wobbly. You cannot dispute (or if you can I would be interested to hear the reasoning) that we are a worse team at this point in time (with the outgoings being better than the incomings) than we were at the end of last season.

I can see where your coming from and tbh know how your feeling as we have been messed around we have been mugged of by the club for the last two seasons and god we had to watch some drizzle last year. Thats not exactly going to full you with optimsm and confidence.
My optimism is just stemming from the belief that we have installed the right man, we are going to back him up and he can bring the best out of our players.
I hope I'm write too because for the last two seasons Ive looked like a mug telling all my mates this is the year for QPR we have substantial backing blah blah blah.....
This year though I'm dont want to preach we are the best team or we are in for shout for automatics, I just want to believe we will be competitive and we are making the right moves forward as a club, which I feel we can do even with the current team....
