If today was the start of the championship and we were stuck with our current squad, I still reckon we would half a chance at the play offs.
I dont see many outstanding teams in this leagues. Forrest, Middlesborough,Hull and Burnley to me are the stand out teams, with very good resources, and spent some decent money.
Every one else is in a similar position with quite equal depths of squads and cant spend millions.
I honestly believe the difference this year will be the self belief in the players that warnock builds up in them, the never die attitude and team spirit will push us above the rest of the chasing pack. We have a manager who brings the best out of players and gets them to perform and over achieve and that it such a weapon in this league. We have finished mid table and just below mid table the previous two season, with god knows what going on behind the scenes and it has such a negative effect on the players but we are settled now and focused and you will see what a difference that makes to us.
I just hope some of our fans give some of the players a chance I really do, we need to unite and have some belief in:angry: ourselves. With the experience we have in the team already, the blend of youth warnock will install, and lets just say he does buy 2 -3 more players at a decent championship level ( not superstars guys we are in the championship) we will have an excellent chance at the play offs.
Scares the life out me on this site when people turn there noses up to names like henderson, do some of you here actually believe we are better then a player like that? I don't understand the negative atmosphere on this site, like I said how many team do you actually think are in a better position then us and why? what makes there squads so special? I honestly believe we have the same chance as 12 other teams or more, and what it will come down to is yes a bit of luck but also good old man management and belief and playing as team.
