I am not ITK but I get the impression that the efforts to get Adel to sign, has had an effect on NW's transfer strategy. If he was given say £5m and has spent £1.5 on Kenny and Mackie and potentially £2.5 put aside for Adel that would influence how he conducted his efforts for strikers. If as it looks like now that Adel isn't coming then he is probably approaching things differently. This may explain us being linked with MacAnuff and Ambrose again.
