Yeh platinum seats are horrifically expenses but there are only about 50 seasts there.

Personally i dont think £20 a game is expensive for a day out in london..
How many £20 tickets are there and how many of these with a decent view? I doubt thare are many of them.

Never been able to get a £20 ticket. Always "sold out" online

At the end of the day it really isn't a lot of money is it?

If you smoke 20 a day you are doing at least £2100 a year
If you drink a minimum of 5 pints a week you are doing £750 a year
If you want to watch your team for 9 months of the year £469

            Priceless

I think our prices are fair and reasonable. Obviously I'd prefer it if they were cheaper but compared to things like gig/theatre/cinema/theme park etc etc admission I can't grumble.
I reckon any gripes about prices are intrinsically linked to performance and league position; if we're doing well and up the top nobody will carp about prices but if we're drifting in mid-table prices will start to be queried.

trouble is these billionaires rolled up and increased expectations and increased prices.
Prices have stayed the same but expectations havent been lived up to due to a lack of investment in the playing staff
past couple of seasons people went out and bought season tickets anyway with the belief that they would spend and build a force in this division but it hasnt happened and people now have not only lost faith but also feel little hard done by and maybe even a little scammed.

If you're talking Bronze upper loft tickets, they don't even sell them online but you can get them at the Box office on the day and save yourself the £3.50 admin charge, i did most of last season.
This season i bought a ST on the early bird offer, great saving compared to what i would have paid, especially if i'd have got them online and had to pay the admin each game. £399.00 as oppose to 540.50 not bad eh, and that's without the cup game that's been thrown in too. Equates to 8 free games, so even allowing for the odd £10 game they'll probably throw in i still reckon i'm quids in.

for dad's bringing their kids when you look at our prices pro-rata to other clubs we are relatively cheap.
Myself and daughter (who is free ) are season ticket holders and we go to most aways aswell, when i look at how much the away tckts cost us theres no comparison.
Sheff utd this season £34 for me £12 for her thats £46 for us to get in double what it costs for a home game. Cov last season sheff weds aswell all vastly more expensive for me.

[QUOTE=ohwestLDN;399887]Again I think this has more to do with the top end of season ticket prices not silver of bronze when looking at most other London clubs. Yes you can get a ticket at Fulham for what £400 or slightly less but thats gonna be the restricted view area,

Sorry to pi** on your fireworks, but your post is complete and utter c**p !
My Fulham season ticket has cost me £399 (a £50 increase on last season !)
but for that I sit about 15 feet away from the away dug out , with a perfect uninterrupted view !
If I had wanted to sit behind the goal in The Hammersmith End I could have chosen 2 blocks that were charging £285 !!!!

Have a pop at Fulham by all means , but please , at least make an attempt to get your facts right !

Incidentally our season ticket sales for this coming season are our highest ever !!

But the fags and pints are £5 here, £3 there - not the lump figure, like the season ticket is.

If we were chalenging for the top, the price issue goes away (to an extent) because we would actually be getting good football, but as it stands, we are mid table at best, paying way over the odds, to see the team go no where and just stagnate in this league for another year.

You can get a season ticket in the family stand at Wigan for £500.

                                That's 2 adults and 2 children.

                                For £500.

                                And see Premiership football.

And that is less than a Platinum ticket for 1 adult.

Wigan's dearest ticket is £295 by the way.
