This statement has not come from the club, it's in the paper and a good one.

I think he's better than Routs, but ghats my personal opinion. Is love him at the Rangers. 3 times the player Ambrose is.
      Your mum would love me...

Remember GP's £1,000,000 offer for Hooper last season which was not true ?

Wasn't routledge sold under old regime? Also thought his sale was major reason for board changes?
Reading haven't said that he's not for sale, only at certain price so pretty certain he'll join

Reports have suggested Royals recently rejected a £1.5 million bid from QPR for winger McAnuff, though the club have strongly denied an official approach.

McAnuff was forced to miss Reading's opening friendly on their pre-season Slovenia tour after picking up a knock in training.

I heard we are waiting for money to come in from Newcastle for Halls loan and WR's transfer. Once these sums have been paid we'll be signing more players. Don't shoot the messenger.

                    haha good one!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

DAzzer, that cannot be true. What the couple of hundred grand we will get may leave our billionaires overdrawn if they spend before then??

As the board have been saying they aren't going to throw money away. WR was a couple of million plus £500k bonus if the went up. Hall had a similar deal. Think it was £300k plus a bonus on promotion and the amount of games he played. Personally I can't see what the real rush is and why people are getting so hung up over our signings or lack of them so far. We still have 3 and a bit weeks to go before the season starts. I still feel that we'll be active in the transfer market and reckon we'll see another 3-5 new faces. Think it's a matter also of shifting some of the players on our books too though.

if we are having to hang around for those kind of amounts shows the budget is pretty well peanunts. so much for the "exciting" summer.

Like our board wouldnt have got the money up front for Routledge?? They are so tight they would have wanted a briefcase full of cash, let alone give them leighway for 6 months!!
