    It really would make me laugh if Ambrose ends up signing for us, after all your 'he's Palace through and through', in saying that, I am not his biggest fan. But I wouldn't trust what any footballer says, they are not loyal like fans.

      Contract discussions started on Monday. Since then Darren has been training every day, as have the rest of the squad. People have spoken to him personally, and he's assured them that he's staying.

        I'm not ruling out his signing for you; but it won't be this season.

        And you're right - Loyalty is rapidly disappearing from football. However, Ambrose and Julian seem to be made of the the "olden days" footballing ilk. Feet very much on the ground. Julian Speroni is also the nicest man you could ever hope to meet.
