I would have no problems if Clint hill played centre back on any cold night but he is way to slow at left back.

No. Ambrose has always maintained that he'd like to stay at Palace, and how much he loves the club. Warnock offered him a massive amount of money, he turned it down to stay with us.

This is not like Tarrabt at all.

We will miss Derry and Hill; but not on the pitch

It's been said before, Derry and Hill really will give 200% to the cause, but it's often not good enough. They're good motivators, and Derry is excellent captain material, but they're getting older, and it's showing.

Towards the end of last season Derry and Hill were making mistakes every game, and their fitness was poor. At the beginning, they were rock solid.

Derry played every game for us last season. It probably shows the type of play he is. He really will try his heart out for you; whether it'll be good enough or not remains to be seen.
