Jason Roberts -- another local lad that got away.

That's down to Ollie and Gerry and then when Ollie did try to snare him back he was out of our empty wallet budget.

I'm sure he'd welcome a return to his old stomping ground but if you chuck in a fee plus wages then no can do it would appear. he would be absolute class for us though.

My feeling is (due to the Ollie factor and staying local to his mansion etc) that he'll end up at Blackpool.

I would absolutely love jason roberts at QPR. I think he suits are club. But as someone said before he's going to cost money meaning there's no chance of him coming. :(

I wondered about Roberts before this. There had been rumours he wanted to come back to London (he is, as LBlock says, a local lad as far as R's is concerned- brought up in harrow I think - certainly was a youth player at Parkfield in Harrow and went on to Hayes.) so might be some truth in it.

Yes, love to see him in hoops. Haven;t seen much of him lately (which will be why Blackburn may now want rid) but always was a good player and I'd think right up Warnock's street. Getting on a bit though isn't he (31 or something? - may be wrong on that).
