he has never really been given a chance, by managers or the fans! Maybe this is his year.
My first game was boxing day 96 QPR 3-2 Norwich....yes we actually beat Norwich.

He's had plenty of chances in a variety of positions and never looked a threat. Problem is he has never looked a goal threat, even when right through on goal.

I hope this IS his year and I've been a fan of his in the past.

He's shown flashes of being quality and when we were playing some mustard stuff under LDC he was linking up superbly with players like Vine etc and the flicks were all there to see.

Wouldn't knock his work rate or keeness either.

Most players have a ceiling level where they are fantastic but then to step up to the next level is impossible --- maybe the division below is where he'd excel (Colchester)??? I really hope not as there is a FINE player in there.

And let's not forget - we did pay a fair bit of cashmoola for the lad.

In summary -- Go on Hogan show me you can
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

          new striker

i still think we need some new blood, i would love to see a james beattie or kevin phillips type player here, a bit of experience and will give us 15 goals a season, then maybe someone like clarke or mackie would benefit? but we need a class striker to compete this season.
