    1) If you have some money as you say, how about paying off the people you owed money to, prior to shafting them all for the second time. I can see a third spell looming, but you keep beleiving all is well if it makes you happy.

    2) Kenny and Cerny shared the golden glove award the season before last, Speroni has never come remotely close to it. However, with the likes of McCarthy in front of him, he could hardly be expected to.

    3) Unfortunately I am not technically able enough to post up youtube links, although I think if you search for Akos Buszacky free kicks towards the end of last season, you will find a decent one he took and scored in the Surrey area.

    4) Darren Ambrose a "20 goal a season midfielder" ? Lets see if he does it this season shall we.

    5) Better than Martin Rowlands ? Only when Martin is on his crutches my friend.

Keep taking the optimistic view if you like. I look forward to comparing it with reality come the end of the season. Should be a laugh.

    1. I can't see a 3rd spell looming. Not at all. We're being run efficiently by a group of extremely successful businessmen. They're not footballers. They know when something's going #### up, and they're not going to let it happen.

    2. Paddy McCarthy is better than any of your defenders. Paddy and Fonté were our two best defenders the season before last, and we had a brilliant defensive record. If you're blind enough not to see, at least our manager and board aren't. New 3 year contract penned today (Thank God)

    3. It's not hard. Just link it in the message area. None of them will be anywhere near as good as Ambrose scoring a thunderbolt from 37 yards against Brad Friedel.

    4. If he get's any more than 10, he'll have done a good job. I fully expect him to get at least fifteen. He'll score more than any of your players next season.

    5. ********. Seriously; ********. Apparently Rowlands has scored 33 goals in 194 games for QPR. Compare that to Darren Ambrose? 20 goals in 46 games.
I think it's clear to see who is the better midfielder. Also, Darren Ambrose has a great corner, Free-kick and penalty. Does Rowlands have better? I think not.

"Keep taking the optimistic view if you like. I look forward to comparing it with reality come the end of the season. Should be a laugh."

Really? Says the fan of the club who have been all but promised promotion, and are favourites to win the League; when in fact their squad is full of over-30 rejects from Palace? They'll try really hard for you; granted. But it won't be good enough.

So, I say to you. Keep taking the optimistic view if you like (most people on your boards are more realistic, and realise that the rest of you are deluded). I shall look forward to comparing it with your mid-table (OR WORSE) finish at the end of the season. Now THAT will be laugh

[QUOTE=Eagle;400377]1. I can't see a 3rd spell looming. Not at all. We're being run efficiently by a group of extremely successful businessmen. They're not footballers. They know when something's going #### up, and they're not going to let it happen. Wasn't Simon Jordon a successful businessman? And Goldberg for that matter? Bit like a successful "trader" buying the wrong "stock" isn't it?

        2. Paddy McCarthy is better than any of your defenders. Find me anybody other than a Palace fanatic who would agree with that. You are not doing yourself any favours at all now.Paddy and Fonté were our two best defenders the season before last, and we had a brilliant defensive record.

I'm happy enough watching all the goals he has scored and created for us thanks. Nicely placed shots such as the one at Selhurst are preferable to hit and hope efforts.

        4. If he get's any more than 10, he'll have done a good job. I fully expect him to get at least fifteen. He'll score more than any of your players next season. So you are now saying he isn't a 20 goal a season man? You're easily persuaded aren't you.

As for scoring more than any of our players, I hope you have the good grace to acknowledge this ridiculous comment at the end of the season when we are all watching another season of Palace scratching around at the bottom.

He is or at least was our penalty taker prior to his injury.
He has scored many fantastic goals from free kicks as well as open play. Oh Yes, he can score when the ball is moving too, not just taking penaties, free kicks and corners. He was picked to represent his country at International level, not just by their current manager, but by previous ones also.
Which country has Ambrose played for? Which County might be a fairer question.

Full of Palace rejects? Do you mean people Palace could not afford to keep? Nobody has promised me promotion Eagle, just that a few on here seem to see it as the bare minimum, which it isn't. We now, for the first time in several years have a quality manager, who has achieved success almost everywhere he has been. Granted he hasn't won anything at Palace, but then again, what have they ever won? Perhaps you could enlighten us? A good manager getting the very best out of these players will surprise a few.

So, I say to you. Keep taking the optimistic view if you like (most people on your boards are more realistic, and realise that the rest of you are deluded). I shall look forward to comparing it with your mid-table (OR WORSE) finish at the end of the season. Now THAT will be laugh [/QUOTE

]I shall make a little note to revisit this prediction again at the end of the season. Just like I amuse myself remembering the comments such as "Warnock won't leave us for you" and "Moses will command Ł5m" type of bluster

          1. your owners have only just taken you over, so how can you judge their efficiently in the time they have been with you, plus they know fa about running a football club.

2 Is that your defenders who we run rings around......and no they are not bettet than connoly, plus we have taken two of your great defence, oh i forgot they are whankers now, hahahahhaa.

3 Get real, ambrose has a one off, under warnock, and never mind Rowlands Buzz has scored goals from midfield every season apart from when he was badly injured, and has been more consistant than Ambrose.

4 Buzz gets around 10 every season, not just a one season player, and not from his favoured position where he is even more effective.

5 Rowlands plays in an entirely differant position to Ambrose and has a differant role within the team.

And lastly, if our owners ever decided to buy our way out of this league, we would blow you and most clubs away.....unlikly but you never know.

Finally, i just wonder how your players would handle having to play under so many differant managers due to having a whanker sacking em all.

One last point, we have reportedly offerd 1.5 mill for a Reading m/f come winger, why do you think Warnock hasn't offer'd that sort of money for Ambrose, Warnock prehaps knows his not worth it, dont you think.

I can't believe some of these posts! Why oh why is there a palace fan sticking his 2 pennies worth in on a QPR site.
The worst thing about some of these posts in the arrogance and sheer bias comments to their own club.
One thing i can't stand is when people talk out of their backsides and its sad these palace fans actually believe in what they are saying.
At this moment in time we are a bigger club, we have more potential and are more attractive then palace, hence why warnock is with us, because he has better resources now.
We also have better players and sorry palace fans but ambrose is nothing compared to buszacky or faurlin and on their day they blow ambrose out the water. As for the Mcarthy comment being better then any of our defenders well thats just a cracker, literately that should be in a Christmas cracker.
Palace have a good club you are going through a rough patch and i feel sorry for you, we have been there are really hope you come out of the mess you are in stronger. You have a good fan base, and if invested in you have potential.
Sorry to say though we have a better history then you and that is FACT, we have been the top club in London, and we have a better current team than you, and we have so much more potential and better current prospects than you.
Things change in football very quickly and hey maybe in 2, 3, 5 or 10 years your be in a different situatuin and be doing better then us, but hey don't be so ignorant to say you are anywhere near the level QPR are atm. I know it hurts we took warnock, derry, hill and ambrose nearly joined and may still yet, but get over it and stick to your own sites, come back and gloat at the end of the season if you prove us wrong or more likely come back in a few years after you have restructured and may have more of a argument.

You would say that, because he came to your team. We'd say that he'd have been more sensible if he's remained with us, and avoided to tin-pot club with more money than quality.

Although, what's the use of all that money. You've spent next to nothing so far?

In fact, I'm beginning to doubt that you'll sign anyone decent. Everyone you approach knows what a failure of a football team you really are.

Warnock leaving DID hurt. Not anymore. Derry and Hill leaving was inevitable. They weren't going to be offered new contracts; they're past it. That doesn't hurt. Are you seriously suggesting that your squad is better than ours?

Ask any neutral, they'll say that we're the better side.

A midfield of Danns, Ambrose and Dorman is better than whatever pile of **** you could put out. Buzz and Faurlin are good players. Kenny is a semi-decent keeper. Who else have you got? Nobody.

If Ambrose went, it would have hurt. Thankfully, he didn't. He looked past the money you were offering, and saw that you were little more than a waste of a space in the Championship.

Do us a favour, and just get relegated. We'd prefer Clowntown or Brighton in the Championship over your tinpot side.

He managed him; yes. He also did nothing but praise him, and talk about how he would grace the Premier League.

Because all you know about is QPR; understandably, I wouldn't expect you to know that. But because you quite clearly don't know what Warnock's like, you should shut up.

Warnock tried for a loooooong time to get Ambrose. Ambrose said he didn't want to come.

Clearly, he can see who has the most ambition.

You only need to LOOK at your boards at the moment. How depressing and upsetting must it be for you?

You're the ginger step-child of the Championship. All that money, and nothing to show for it.

Look at our boards. We've sold out a friendly against Chelsea, and we don't even care if we lose. We're buzzing, and can't wait 'till the new season.
