I actually think Derry, Hill and Kenny are very useful signings and will make us more difficult to beat. So, when we go to likes of Doncastor and Scunny, we should come away with the points.....getting points of these kind of teams has been our weakness in recent seasons. I do agree that we need some quality going forward, we've lost routledge, tarrabbt and simpson (though don't rate him as highly as most seem to), we need to replace at least one of them (or get adel back).

At the end of the day attack starts from a solid defence. When we played Leicester at LR, they were solid and were very difficult to break down. We were under pressue to do so, couldn't and they took advantage. If we can have this solidity in our play, we will do well.

Agree with you winalotto. The season is still just under 4 weeks away. Some supporters on here will never be happy even if we went out and signed the likes of Messi. Warnock's main man clearly said on an interview on QPR Player that there will be more coming in, as has Warnock and I believe that. He also said he thought that it could quite possibly be not until about 2 weeks before the season starts before any further activity takes place and I also believe that too. What happens with most clubs during the close season is first you make all your freebie signings e.g. the players who are either out of contract or players who have short deals left which clubs are looking to cash in on before they go on a bosman. As the season gets closer to starting that is when you'll see the main stint of business. Guys be patient for now and if a week before the campaign starts then you'll get my FULL SUPPORT for answer as to why we have been fed all this SPIN. We are simply going over old ground here and this really is turning into a QPR DEPRESSION forum!

I also know a few occasions where when we have made it known that we are interested in a player and their parent clubs has slapped a ridiculous price tags on the players head causing us to back off. We all don't know the exact inns and outs that go on behind the scenes. The club has made great strides to plug the leaks which is fantastic, so lets just all take a deep breath and relax for the next few weeks.

You can't go by stats mate, who's to say Simpson would score as many this year, who's to Say Mackie wont get goals or Clarke? I believe we should keep Helguson instead of sniffing around Henderson, with Mackie one side and Hogan the other they'll get goals, you can remind me of this in the season if i'm wrong, we're stronger at the back and have great keepers so we may not need to be as free scoring as other teams.

What did you think of Simpson when he first came , why can't Mackie be that same player? Also think Cruise may come on loan from Arsenal at left back and what about our stronger back line and goalkeeper? My case is down now two.

Simpson well he scored goals , held the ball up well and was part of a good system under Magilton. Towards the end was pants but still liked him. young kid scored 13 goals and got chucked out right midfield for about 5 games for some silly reason also.

Dont know much about cruise though anything is an improvement on hill.

Clarke is a poor poor player, even looking fitter he looked pants on those highlights yesterday.

Anyway we shall see.

I know where you are coming from mate, I got a refund on my season ticket and my loyalty was questioned. I won't pay waitrose prices whilst shopping in Asda. It's the lies that made me want my money back. To be fair to the club they was quick and prompt in refunding me.

Are you saying that you choose to shop in Asda? Surely QPR as a brand never changes, the quality of the produce may change but it will still be QPR. Blackpool are in the prem but are still no Fortnum and Mason.
