have read many posts on this messageboard...but this one is both direct and precise ! why do it without wanting the promised land....i still believe they wanna get promotion on the cheap and then sell us for a massive profit....they're not football people but they are most definately BUSINESS MEN....please god prove me wrong but i feel we're in for massive heartbreak with this guy's at the helm further down the line ! !

Whilst I too, like GTP, sit in the "Optimism Chair", I can also see where the Doom Merchants are coming from and concede, that with each passing day, without any transfer activity in/out of the club that there argument gathers increasing strength and is equally valid and wouldn't dismiss their opinions.

I dont think there will be much activity over the next 3 weeks apart from a swap shop to move people on in a week or so. Meesut Ozil deciding to go to Bayern Munich instead of considering Chelsea speaks volumes to the direction football is going and the 50% tax rate is going to be a big problem.
