  • Why did they buy in to QPR?

Why did Ecclestone, Briatore and Mittel buy into QPR?

What exactly are their motives? If they wanted success on the field, they could afford to play a higher stakes game than what they are currently doing. The argument about the club running a tight budget, living within its means and not spending what we don't have simply doesnt wash with me.

We are running up huge debts on a weekly basis so why don't the board up the ante and spend more to get in some decent goalscorers?

If they are serious about building the club up, why haven't they already started building an academy indoor facility and extending even more into local communities?

Why haven't plans been made to expand the capacity of Loftus Road for when we arrive in the higher league?

What are our owners plans i wonder?

Brilliant post mate, and it doesn't wash with me either.

    Very well explained.

You have to wonder what they really are trying to achieve.

With our backing we should be able to compete having 10k less season tickets less than forest is total peanuts to the mittals.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If they ever thought they could make QPR a profit or "break-even" viable business, then they are sadly mistaken. A football club can now only be run with someone willing to put money in, if you want sucess, apart from the 1 in a million Blackpool.

I agree with what you are saying...

Did they invest in us to make money though? Certainly they wouldn't have wanted to make huge losses but those guys could've invested their money elsewhere as a 'safer' return on their money.

If they invested in QPR as a plaything then why don't they bleedin well play with it and get us where we all want to be!

Hazell I am afraid you have Bob hope of getting an answer to this very valid question. It is a total mystery that makes me feel very sad. I would rather we didn't have the spin every year because the lies have put me off following my side, hence my refunded season ticket.

I feel the same fella. As do the thousands of missing fans that don't attend each week through sheer disillusionment too.

I don't want us to be a spend big type of club. I'm not asking for them to throw multi millions at the team. All i want is for us to stop being mugged off. If they spent just a bit more on quality strikers, we'd have so much more chance to succeed this season.

                        Spot on!

How long have we been crying out for a Striker?

The last REAL decent striker in my eyes was Paul Furlong, and that feels like an age ago.

If we are running up huge debts then thats surely the answer as to why we are not spending big money on transfers.
