  • Should we ban...?

    VUVUZELAS?

Personally, I can't stand them.. they add no atmosphere.. in fact they take all of it away.. if someone near me is blowing one next season.. I'll be forced to shove it up their R's!!

    Southampton know the score!!

strange how they may let them in anyway,as you can't take a capped drink pitchside;but it will be ok to throw a vuvuzela on the pitch or hit someone with it?

      Can you imagine the noise,
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Cant take a 2ft umbrella inside the ground as it is deemed a potential weapon so how can you take in a 3ft Vuvuzela ?

I cant wait to see the first argument where a Dad is being prevented from bringing in his young sons thomas the tank engine umbrella, while people are walking past with 'potential' 3ft missiles.

Also, I bet that in the first game, stewards are called to an incident where a dad takes offence to someone telling his kid that if he blows the Vuvu one more time, he will shove it up his harris.

PLEASE PLEASE god I hope every football club in the land bans them, they are a nuisence why would anyone want to sit next to someone blowing one of those for the whole game. I for one will be complaining to the club should they allow these things to blight our game.
But i do agree with Bob Hazell that our ground is like a morque, Loftus Rd has been totally lacking atmosphere for the last couple of seasons.Maybe thats what being a boutique club is all about, just like the Arsenal.

I would like to see them for one game just to see the stewards panicking trying to confiscate etc...
