Thanks for the reply mate, but I can't honestly see what's harsh there?

I did say he seems very nice, so I've hardly had a pop. The truth is, he started many posts about Beckford, and is doing the same regarding other players who just won't come. I'm just doing the whole thing of 'managing' our expectations. Not just aimed at Gee, but also all the others.

Honestly mate, no amimosity was intended towards him.

Fair enough Benny you are right, just thought I'd defend Gee because I know some posters - not you - have had a go at him in the past and he isn't in the best of health.

Agree about managing expections. Though even I didn't realise we'd have to manage them quite to this extent. Is this really it do you think in terms of strikers? I thought we might get a Henderson or a Hulse but even that is starting to look a bit unlikely, no?

I'll be honest, I'm in no way 'ITK' but I believe Henderson is coming back for another medical, and also that we'll see another striker.

And I'm not saying NW is the messiah, like smoe try to twist my words with, but I do believe he's a top manager at this level and even with the tools we currently have, I truely feel he could achieve a top 6 finish.

Good news if we cd get Henderson and another striker, thanks for that. If we did I agree a top six finish wd be poss/ even quite likely. But much as I rate Warnock and think a season of potential stability will massively improve us you do have to weigh against this that we are without simpson, tarabt and routledge. Therefore, if we don't gain further re-inforcements then to finish in the same place as last time wd imho be quite an achievement on Warnock's part.

Thanks for your support as usual SIAL you lovely man, although I took no offence at BennyBoysRs comments, everyones entititled to an opinion. To put the record straight,I hold my hand up to the number of Beckford posts I made prior to his signing for Leeds.I'd followed his career from when he was with Wealdstone and recommended him to QPR long before Palidini sarcastically asked me for £4m to buy him.The same goes for Sir Les when I recommended him to the R's when he was an 18 yr old with Southall and I was approached to go on the Southall board. As we all know he went to Hayes before joining us.

As for Hooper,I've posted very little about him (as much as I'd like him at LR) and even less about Beattie. It's purely information that I'd picked up that I wanted to share with like-minded people.Like Jason Roberts being linked with WBA for £1m and Blackburn being prepared to sell him.

Its merely information I'm passing on in our search for possible strikers. For Christs sake we've got to cling on to something nowadays with our board seemingly reluctant to part with their money amid all the hype and extortionate ST prices.
