are just a few. For every Buzsacky you might get a Borrowdale, but on the whole in the last 18 months when we've actually had the money, the buys have been good. Some forget, that when you talk about buys like Sturridge, Moore, Ukah, Oliseh, Czerkas we never had a pot to p.iss in based on the previous "pocket the money chairman and directors" who bled this club dry.

Has Paladini really been Sporting Director that long?

      Paladini

It makes our club a complete & utter laughing stock to have someone as odious & despised in football circles as Paladini buying players for a double European cup winner & member of European Footballing Royalty, what is this talk of "lack of experience" ? I dont think I've ever read a more laughable comment, are you saying that the mendacious & self serving Paladini who lied about playing for Napoli, Juve & the Italian National Team has more "Experience" of football than a truly great & hugely respected worldwide Football man like Sousa ??!
Hang your heads in shame for crying out loud, absolutely cringeworthy comment.
Show this thoroughly decent, Intelligent & Positive man the respect he undeniably deserves.
      PALADINI OUT,
      IN SOUSA WE TRUST.

Is there evidence that GP is 'despised in football circles'?

              Besides the Blackpool chairman maybe?

Blackpool chairman and his son have a great reputation.

I'd rather be firiends with people like harry Redknapp and Alex Ferguson to be honest. You get potentially better players from Spurs/Manchester United than Blackpool;D;D

Harry, sorry, 'Arry Redknapp & SAF have unblemished reputations, no accusations of wrong doing whatsoever at any points in their respective careers.
I'm glad Paladini is such great "friends" with 'Arry & SAF, maybe they will give him a job when he gets the boot from QPR ??
                  No, thought not.
If Darren Ferguson becomes new QPR manager, I will stop supporting QPR.

Despised may be a tad strong but I know some vermin, I mean agents who aren't exactly complimentary of our esteemed sporting director and his abilities.. and one of them he probably thinks of as an old friend!

                          we know your views too.

At the end of the day, he redeemed himself with many when Flavio took over, shame some still hold grudges to this day. But aye, even promotion from this league won't change views with those people.

What grudge's are their to be held Pete? I think I'm old enough to form my own judgement based on FACTS presented to me rather than believing all that I'm told beacuse someone is a nice guy...

And why on earth would promotion from this league alter one's opinion - it will only ever happen when the manager is given the freedom to choose his own players rather than being spoonfed by an ex agent IMO.

Or are we not allowed to have an opinion?

PS who is Rowna Vine - is Rowan up to something at the weekend that we need to know about?

Pete do you honestly believe that because GP secured the investment that he is now bulletproof (excuse the pun) from our fans. Because he did wonderfully well to secure our future, can we not question his merits as a sporting director?? Do you categorise all elements of doubt regarding GP as people having grudges?
Win or lose, on the booze

No grudges from me-i just think he ought to learn the art of discretion.
