I am not in the know to any extent, i get the odd snippet of info from people close to the club.

What I cannot understand is that if we were going to have our decent signings, surely they would be here by now...

The season kicks off in under 4 weeks.
All I can see is a load of loan signings again, or another free transfer gamble, talked up to be the next big thing!!

Cheers... I'll put that on my Cv. It might help.

Btw the "ITK" statement wasn't directed at you, just observing that some on here happen to suddenly have relatives who are 1st cousins removed and suchlike who live down the road from a players aunt who told a girl on a checkout that so and so is signing.

Just not sure where all these people are springing up from. Whilst I'm sure some are honest, it does muddy the waters somewhat which is why I just wait for the "Official" line... whenever that is...?

But I do think the points he makes would be more valid if he makes them at the end of the month.

Not a case of sticking my head in the sand and blandly beating out it's "Only May, June or Just July" for the sake of it. Just the reality is no other team in the League has their squad finalized yet. Show me one who can name their opening day teamsheet and he might have a case for his bleating.

Also, as I stated elsewhere, Mick Jones has said we are in for players but it may take a fortnight to bring anyone else in. Like it or not, we have to accept that may be the case, so no point bemoaning the fact.

If you put in an order for a sofa and DFS says it will be delivered to you in a fortnight, what are you going to do?

As Mick Jones works for the club, I will take more credence in what he has to say about signings than those on here - and they are springing up a lot all of a sudden - who deem themselves ITK Posters.

Have never said that I am happy with the progress so far... Just a bit more patient than most.
        Very good post.

I am trying to stay positive ish but I do have my concerns and I don't think Jeffro will be proved wrong although I bl oody hope he is and I can make that fan club 3
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Make that tripled, as long as there is no membership fee.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Just wait and see, wait and see...

Too many on here jump in far too early. I have no clue what is going to happen, but it could be one of the following:

NW likes what he sees in Fitz Hall in training and brings him back at CB and makes him club captain. He continues to show total faith in Hogan Ephraim and Mikele Leigertwood and insists on playing Derry, Hill and Clarke irrespective of form. Buzz, Vine and Cook start on the fringes and develop attitudes about not featuring to the point where the club is, once again, drawn into a pathetic 'Player Power' argument. After a particularly disappointing defeat at Doncaster shown live on Sky, Buzz comes running out of the dressing room holding his nose crying about being bullied. Warnock is placed on Gardening Leave for two weeks whilst the witch hunt completes its finding and then sacks him. The next Manager is Graeme Souness, who takes two weeks to upset Adel Taarabt, back on loan, who then threatens to walk out of the club. Souness is sacked after three weeks and Amit Bhatia becomes the subject of a fans protest. Club spirit is totally destroyed and we free fall down the table.

An unknown investor then launches a bid for the club and, when successful, he employees Simon Grayson, a proven Championship Manager with pedigree and announces a New Era (C) QPR on the official website stating that Grayson has the full backing of the board and will be left alone completely on playing matters.

We then go on a mini-run and avoid relegation by six points because Watford and Coventry have enterred Administration.

                OR:

Fitz Hall, Heidar Helguson, Lee Cook, Hogan Ephraim, Akos Buszacky, Rowan Vine, Martin Rowlands, Damion Stewart and Patrick Aygemang all come back to the club firing on all cylinders determined to make this season theirs. Along with the inspirational Shaun Derry and Clint Hill, their work effor raises, they fight for every ball and, most importantly for each other through the early season. Five games in, five wins and in the next fixture, despite being down to nine men away from home early in the second half, they grind out a 1-0 win. Leon Clarke, immensely grateful to Neil Warnock for giving him a 'last chance' seizes the opportunity and scores 6 goals in those first games during which he has forged a fantastic partnership with Helguson and they are thriving on service from Mackie, Vine and Cook. Aygemang is playing his part from the bench frightening the opposition with his pace and power at advanced stages of the game. At the back, Gorkks and Connolly look the finest pairing in the Championship, ably assisted from the back by full backs Hill and Ramage.
Buszacky and Rowlands are in the middle, the former breaking up play and allowing the playmaker to pull all those strings.

The squad, although huge, is a happy place and all players are pulling together supporting the team when not involved on the pitch and giving their all when called upon.

The team never look back and we reach the Premiership in March - Happy Days.

Now, the truth will be somewhere between the two - upper mid table this season I think, but upper mid table dabbling with the play-offs instead of with relegation, but let's just wait and see, shall we?:leaking:
