Clarke possibly knows he is in last chance saloon (which makes a change from his usual favoured choice of saloon). I remain deeply worried about the guy as he has been shocking everywhere else he has been. But I admit he is looking the part so may yet eat my words. Which I would honestly look forward to doing.

TBH Dando I think he probably knows that without fitness and clear keenness he will not get a game under Warnock. And he'll know this really must be his last chance at this level. So he'll be up for it I think and might yet prove some of us (inc me) wrong. But anyone who has ever sen him play must remain very very doubtful that he can actually cut it. Laziness and flabbiness were only part of his problems! But lets hope. At the moment there is nothing else to hope on!

clarke came and i was disapointed.

HOWEVER. i am always willing to be proved wrong. he has given himself best start being in shape ready for pre-season.
