because i thought it was uneccesary like i said in my reply. if he wants to take the penalties and gets the hump when hes stopped by the player manager then so what. doesnt deserve being booed for wanting to take it and to score for the club imho.

He was not booed for wanting to take the penalty, he was booed for asking to be subbed because he could not take it. Can you understand the difference ?

can you understand words put together?
he was booed before and after that, like i posted previously. people were getting on his back a few games before that incident.

G.T.P he is an undoubted talent but soon he'll want ot take all the penalties ,corners ,free kicks, throw ons or he might sulk. would you be happy for him to take one in a game at the end of the season, miss! and sacrifice promotion or a play off place just because he wants to take it when the recognised taker i.e Rowly or Buzz may have been very successful all season I'am also of the view that you dont let people take penalties just to get their hat trick unless you are about 3-0 up 5 min left and game won we done this a while back with fitz hall & we clung on to win an edgy game. incidently I'am not one of the people that boo him although at times i find him very frustrating

well put dave, and i do agree with what you have said, and it was stupid and very petulant of him to act like he did. but our season was over, we were safe iirc, so it wouldnt of hurt to let him take it and add to his goal tally and to see if hes any good at it. i mean he did deserve a go after some of the performances and the only slight bit of entertainment and joy he gave us in a dire season and the worst season in the history of qpr managerial/laughing stock wise.

Why would you do that when you already have the nominated penalty taker on the pitch? Taarabt's personal goal tally isn't of concern to the TEAM.

The nominated penalty taker takes the penalties. Whatever the game. To throw a hissy fit shows someone not prepared to take on much discipline and doesn't respect his team mates. Drogba did the same the week after (though didn't whinny like a 2 year old to be subbed) and got slated by the press. Surely the lesser player shouldn't be adverse to sucking a bit up.

just think the best player in the team by country miles should be able to take penalties if he wants to, unless his first one is shite. (especially in a nothing game)
we had so many managers so obviously there is nothing written in stone who was the penalty taker or who was second third or fourth in line.
and we all know buzz thinks hes the manager, so adel prolly got the bang hump about him making every descision on the pitch and not letting him take it, hence the strop.

When was the last time two ball cared more about the team than his personal stats as Buzz scoring a penalty wont feature him in the clips mememetube.com ?
