Seriously fella, if someone come in for Clyne like Arsenal say for £1 million and Palace turned it down, Clyne would simply request a transfer and be offski ASAP. You are really are off your head. THOUGH I will say this won't happen because Clyne isn't good enough. Clubs likely to be interested in him would be the likes of Newcastle, West Brom, Blackpool, Wigan, Wet Spam, Wolves and other clubs fighting it out at the wrong end of the Premiership.

I'd be more than happy to buy you a cup of coffee fella to try and wake you up!

PS - If Palace are rolling in the cash then why don't they pay their bill with PMTV? They might also want to spend a little bit of cash on updating their images of Clint Hill on the official website too. It's getting embarressing.

Dazzer, im not doubting for one second that if a decent offer from a decent premiership club came in their heads wouldnt be turned because they would, it happens at every club.

All i was trying to imply is that today's article in the Mirror is so far fetched it's untrue!

Yes contracts these days mean nothing in football even depsite if Ambrose signs an extended contract at Palace but i think i could safely go as far as saying that both Clyne and Ambrose will be wearing Palace colours on the first day of the season on 7th August and still be wearing them when the transfer window closes at the end of August.

    • you hope pal

i dont care whether they come or not were in for other players too aswell you know.

at the same time your point of the thread was to make it as like its one up for palace because of that story but its a yoyo never ending saga and whether it happens or not

people who think it will happen for qpr - you could be wrong
palace dave - you could be wrong

its a pony bawlocks story just like every pre season since we have had "money"

fagin spent more and talked about less and he even wrote a song

      • Who was it in here saying Clyne wouldn't to Brum because he's not good enough? You know zilch about him. Don't make completely unfounded assumptions, since these often turn out to be wrong.

        HTH.

        • Blimey you lot sull arguing this one???

Clyne seems to be a very good full back.I would have himhere no problems, but suspect if he does go, must look for the premiership. For some one as good as him, realistically, why come to QPR ??

Ambrose, as i have said before, if he comes here, no problem, but also not overly fussed if he doesn't.A fully fit Buz will do me, but then that's a matter of opinion.

          • 1. Speroni is confirmed to be staying
            2. Clyne doesn't get owned by anyone
            3. We're making those signings to save money. They're squad players. After all, signing the worst ageing players from a Championship club doesn't bode well for a title push, now does it?
            4. Paddy McCarthy is one of the very best centre backs in the division. Obviously, you haven't seen him play very much.
            5. Scannell and N'daiye were only in our starting 11 because our squad was so small, and had to work so hard. This season, they will largely be on the bench. Our squad hasn't gone backwards. We've cut our worst players (and given them to YOU ), kept all of our quality, and brought in some great prospects.
            6. Alan Lee is a great striker.
            7. Burley is a better manager than Warnock anyway. Even if he does manage to make a couple of decent signings (which I doubt, considering QPR has a reputation as a massive joke club), you'll still be playing the long ball hoof game.
            8. I'd say that based on the current promise of your side, and the negativity on your boards compared to our optimism, and relishing of the new season; QPR are far more likely to be disappointed/relegated come the end of the season than we are.

All in all, our pre-season has been FAR, FAR greater than yours.

That could be directed at all QPR fans here, but is more personally towards the geezer earlier in the thread going on about Clyne being roasted by Agyemang, generally just posting like a deluded person.

Emphasis on the 'diligent businessmen and understand that a football club has to be ran like a business.' SJ and MG did not understand that, nor were diligent businessmen.

What an earth are you talking about?

And stainrodisalegend, I understand completely, but I am not boasting, merely showing how the assumptions that are very frivolent on here at the moment of Speroni and Clyne 100% being off, and our need for money are very, very wide of the mark.

Not sure about that one.Up untill Warnock was linked with us, he was the best thing since sliced bread. That came from Palace fans. Now we have him , all of a sudden , he is crap.

Ive always liked George Burley, but has yet to really blossom as a "great" manager.Maybe Palace will be the ticket, built on the foundations laid by Warnock.?
