simple really, 90% of ruckers cant afford to travel that far across the planet for a tear up, and the south african police would of just shot on sight anyway.
    hence no barneys.

heard a reporter on tv last week say "hopefully we have seen the last of english football violence. almost pissed my self laughing at such a stupid comment.you have got the same type/class of fan in s/a as was in japan in 2002 a lot of die hards mixed with a hell of a lot of middle class men and women with money to burn jumping on the world cup bandwagon that happens to be being held in a beautifull country that ticks all the middle class boxes. at least half of the fans i have seen interviewed would not have been able to name 4 of the england team 6 months ago and it will be interesting to see how many of these newbie england fans travel to the not so glamourous poland and ukraine in 2012 i think we can safely say the stupid wigs and face paints can be packed away untill brazil 2014. personally i think i would rather be around the hairy arsed wanna be football hoolie idiot throwing plastic chairs around than these middle class ******s.

i know you're only messing about so i haven't taken offence at what you've said, but for those living through that war it would be pretty galling to read people making jokes about it. for one reason or another i happen to know a fair few serbs, bosinians and croats that were in their respective countries at the time. their stories are heartbreaking in the extreme. i hope none of that **** ever happens to us and our families.

The main reason there wasn't alot of trouble was that we have nearly 5,000 banned , it was miles away and if there is any trouble the press and the fa cover it up

I have done a few England aways Euro 2000 , Germany 2001 , Greece 2001 , Northern Ireland 2005 , Croatia 2006 , Russia 2007 and France in 2008 and bar France in 2008 there was trouble at all of them but hardly any of it was reported in the press
                          We Are The People.....

Haha generalisation alert. It is quite sad that you have such a 'them and us' mentality when everyone is equal in terms of supporting sports. Maybe if you had put more effort into your own life early on then you possibly may have been able to do the things you wished, instead of beating down others who can.
