Shouldn't go any higher than £2m for Jobi, but he's 28 which is a good age

Orr and McAnuff will both be good buys.

      Patience is of virtue.

Re: Hooper...I bet he stays at Scunny, does the business up to Xmas and see's what his best option is then. If Leeds or Borough are looking really good, he'll go to one of them. If we're looking good, he'll possibly consider us.

It's down to him though. If he does not want to leave before then, he won't as Scunny aren't exactly wanting to offload him.

we will sign someone else then, simple as that. we are in urgent need of a striker who can score, and waiting till christmas is not an option if we want promotion imho.
im certain warnock aint gonna wait either, he will get someone else. (thats if he is even looking at hooper)

Palace Dave : We made an offer for Ambrose which was more than fair in the circumstances which was accepted, player had medical and agreed terms. You then pull the plug and expect (after the bidding war you were hoping hasn't materialised) you expect Warnock to up his bid - i think not. Who's ripping who off ?

We will get someone else, but that's not to say we won't go for him at Xmas.

I don't understand why we are in for wide midfielders, we need full backs at least 2 strikers and a centre half with pace

£2m is getting to be a bit pricey for McAnuff imo - would rather we spent that kind of money on a striker first.

We'll get another two strikers and possibly Orr as a full back as he's very effective there, despite his early position. It makes sense as to why he wants a pacey right winger. The left back quality in this league isn't exactly great and lacks pace. It's an area you can expose on a regular basis, so McAnuff would be a class buy.

In that case it's probably worth buying him just so we don't have to see him against Hill...

Annoying isn't it - we could buck that trend by getting in Tosic but no, we have to go and be like everyone else

See its funny because Chris Robsons mate is good pals with Vine who confirmed that he was 22k as well. Similar stories about Cook, Helguson are knocking about. Most people would say that there is no smoke without fire but all Pete will do is patronise you cause Gianni's fed him a load of BS.
