Said it before and I'll no doubt say it again, Taraabt would be an excellent signing when played in the right position. Played as a striker or a winger and he'll split opinion but played in the free role (soon to be known as the Ozil role) and he'll destroy teams. We saw in this WC the problems Ronaldo had playing in the wrong position. Pick Taraabt to play as a forward and he won't have the freedom or score enough goals to be successful. Play him in a free position without defensive responsibilites and he'll terrorise all in front of him.

Sorry Sirpie but on this occasion I have to disagree.

The problem Ronaldo has is being overrated.

He has scored 1 goal in 2 years and has played in various positions in those 2 years.

End of the day Ronaldo did well with man u but can't handle the big stage, and when his team is struggling he goes missing!

Not to impressed with tarrabt to be honest. I think he is a quality player, but he is obviously holding out for a better deal as so much effort has been put into getting him, as yet he has not signed on the dotted line.
