I havent seen Clarke play so I wonder: With him upfront and if he fullfills his potential, do we really need to buy players like Stead and Hulse(rumours)
Personally I have a feeling that Hulse and Clarke will give us an ideal cover for the "targetman" possition. 2 players in every position. But
Why spend big just for the sake of it.? Will we really like it if we all of a sudden are having a new "Agyemang" case in our hands. Not bound to happen. But it frightens me all the same.
As you lot also mention Helgusson, well I think he has to produce for QPR wheter he wants it or not. I dont think he is that hot on the transfermarket anymore, really. So lets stick with him. He is an Icelandic and will never give up his place in our squad without a fight. I know he is injury prone. But I have faith in our new backroom staff. They should sort his problems out.
So bottomline for me is that Warnock should be able to build a team of the aforementioned players. Isent that what he is good at really?
