Why aren't we in for Kris Boyd???

I can think of fifty thousand reasons why we're not in for Kris Boyd -- those reasons will be sitting in his current account on a weekly basis.

It would be MADNESS for a club such as ours to start lashing such figures around.
Don't give me all this "but we've got billionaire owners" tosh neither. I would far rather the current encumbants take us forward on a SENSIBLE basis and focus on a balance between top CCC performers at SENSIBLE wages with good incentive bonuses in their contracts rewarding success PLUS put in some good foundation infrastructure at the club.
How about we expand the great work that Andy Evans does? Improve our scouting, youth coaching etc, etc.

Should we manage to jump back on that gravy train that is the Premiership Pamper Club then it will time to re-consider but I for one would like to see a sensible Wigan type approach to that rather than a Portsmouth way of doing things.
