  • QPR target Cardiff City boss Dave Jones

I know this is pure speculation again, but I think he could do a job for us.......just need to get over the Bardiff thing though....

    Here is the full article..

QUEENS PARK RANGERS have made Cardiff City boss Dave Jones one of their main targets for the managerial vacancy at Loftus Road, the Echo can reveal.

a lot better than some of the other names we have been linked to but highly unlikely. Cardiff moving to a brand new stadium which should see an upturn in revenue and more money for Jones to invest in his squad. Plus I can see us having a rep amongst most league managers, akin to the naughty lad at school who all the teachers talk about in the staffroom. i.e QPR not to be touched with a bargepole!

Somehow, I think that this may just be the paper trying to fill up some columns. I'm not sure he'd be the best appointment - it begs the question, why did Cardiff go from being a play-off chasing side, to a team conceeding 11 goals in 3 games?

Have him if you want him. Hes done great for Cardiff and id go as far as say best manager we have ever had. Awesome with limited resources but i dont think he will spend money wisely and is tactically poor.
Id rather Curbishley at Cardiff. Thats the talk down here at the moment if Dave walks

What the fook happened to your team Gareth, you were walking it at one stage, even had a very good chance of auto promotion.
                  They seek him here.................

                    um..the ***** allegations haunt him...

ok , cardiff were goals and 7pts clear of pne..and FAILED.
                    where's the success there??
they got smashed 6-0 at pne at that cost em...

he did little at wolves, as i recall...sod him, no way.
                    thats the calm response!

Curbishley seems to "be the talk" for every team that hasnt got a manager!

Dave Jones my personal opinion would be no!
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

I would be happy with Dave Jones, we could do a lot worse! Cardiff have outperformed us the last couple of years with a lot less money!

Pete ypur so wrong when it comes to bringing in de canio. I would like either curbs or alan irvine but has to be british now!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
