I was there i remember it being the biggest QPR game i have ever been to (SO FAR!!!!!)
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless
I was there. Had a massive hangover and was so nervous that I didn't really enjoy the day as much as I should have(pre-match). Gutted for 2 months afterwards. The binge drinking in Shepherds Bush for 2 days before the game was great fun though
I was there although was half cut so the game seemed to flash by without much incident. Although saying that I don't think it was the greatest of spectacles. I thought we shaded it and I didn't really see us losing. Was pretty shocked to find Pacquette start instead of Thomson (I think!) Was absolutely gutted when they scored and knew we wouldn't equalise! Was very intimidating leaving the stadium as well to go home!!
One thing I remember about that season was a game a few weeks before against Crewe where Stephen Kelly and I think Richard Langley both got the most ridiculous sending offs. I'm usually quite a restrained person but that game saw me explode with expletives like i've never done before....I literally wanted to kill the ref!!! haha....It could have cost us a playoff position and at the time we could have caught Crewe!!!
i had bit of revenge at the bq the other year n all fish ! she was decent ask mick !

And our pride it for ever will be.
What a weekend, what a feeling seeing all those Hoops! ..... so good to read everyone's memories of that final. On the Friday morning before the final, I did a rolling report in my cab, for Sky TV with Ian Holloway at Loftus Road. Sky played the report just before the kick-off at Cardiff, so I guess not many Rangers fans would have had the chance to see it.
Pete, Myu, and Scott Jones between them, have my ONLY copy of that recording on video .... they intend to put it up on here at sometime in the near future.
Took over two hours to record with Sky, and I have to say I had a great laugh with a man whom I have a very high respect for, and that's Ian Holloway!
The actual TV footage is only about three minutes in total ..... But, the whole lead-up to the final, and staying in Newport for the weekend, and obviously doing the stuff with Sky and Ollie, will live with me forever :boss:

I was there, i remember walking into the ground and being hit by a wall of noise, which was amazing. Can't recall much about the game(battered). Then after those bellends scored, I cried, snapped my flag and got on the minibus, which then got pelted by little welsh ***** kids. other than that, great day...:very_sad:
Flew back from Thailand for the long weekend. Great day out , seeing loads of old faces, and showing what support we can generate on the big games. We got coach from Uxbridge, cant remember name of pub, but good set of lads. The atmosphere around the castle before the game was blinding. Even taffs I meet out here compliement our support that day......horrible c**ts though.....
Went down on the Friday night and met a mate at the hotel. Off out to the Bay for a few beers and got back to the hotel. Thought we'd have a few drinks in the bar and found that the Sky team were staying there.
Had a chat with, amongst others, Steve Cotterill (was ok), Kammy (ledge) and a long chat with Dowie. He was Manager of Oldham at the time, nd was very candid about how much his budget had increased for the following season. He really wasn't impressed!
We had a box for the game, and found out that the Sky box was pretty near, so got an invite to have a nose around after the game.
Also staying there was Howard Webb (who reffed the game). Got a couple of pics with him, one offering him a cash bribe. He took it in good spirit, and was a thoroughly nice bloke.
Also, got a couple of HUGE flage made, one of which we got a load of people to sign and gave it to someone to take into the dressing room before the game. I know it got there, cos it was on Tommy Williams video diary of the day (if anyone remembers that).
One thing than sticks in my mind was the banner for Daphne Biggs that was on display. A nice touch, and respect for whoever brought it.
Game was poo, and the result hurt like hell, but it was a fantastic weekend.
Ive worked at the stadium (millennium) for 7 years and still havent lived it down. Truly terrible day for me all round and hate the thought of going through it again in the championship P Off final. :(
went there got ****ed had a massive off wiv the cardiff got nicked didnt see the game and the dirty gob ****e welsh ****in old bill wouldnt even tell me the score caaants
Got the coach from The Greenwood in Northolt. No point in putting the likes/dislikes of the day cause theyre practically all the same. Remember stopping off in Chippenham on the way back for a few beers and a kebab. Remember this stella drinking dwarf outside the pub saying how much he hated QPR then informing him who we were.
I remember comming out of the ground and some twant on his balcony giving it large and Debs holding onto me for dear life to stop me ( and a few others ) from battering the flats door in. Then I decided to find an offy to drown my sorrows and gets some tinnies for the journy home. Finding us surrounded by Cardiff and Debs muttering 10 to the dozen oh fk your gonna get us battered lol but in truth ( and to my surprise ) everyone we encountered was ok.
Long journey back, seemed to last forever!
