    - rigged "support" comp before game with inflatables
    - tommy williams not crossing it.
    - being started on by a drunk welshman as we left.
    - our coach kicking off with a pub as we past it.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

I wasn't there but I still hate Cardiff City and their fans.
Having said that the playoff final I want to see next year
      would be qpr and cardiff.

Was there, had a great day until ... well we all know!!

Arrived back in Tommy Flynns Hammersmith for a few very late beers to drown sorrows.

However just under a year later, same pub just different reason!!!

Was there with my bro-in-law who is a B Rovers fan . He couldn't believe the R's support!!!

Had an early lunch with some welsh friends in Cardiff Bay (who were supporting the R's that day) in a very flash restuarant. He picked up the bill which was cool.

Then headed for an R's pub near the castle where the noise was deafening. Met some old some friends from Harefield in there I hadn't seen for years.

Great seats and fab view although we had some hospitaility boxes full of Taffs just behind us which caused some friction.

Left before the fireworks and was greeted by loads of fat welsh ******s who shouted abuse at us and were obviously on some kind of death wish as the cardiff OB just watched on smiling!!!

Got back to a family party and just got wasted.

A memorable day apart from the result!!! I've still got my limited edition white play off final shirt which I wear with pride.

I was there, drove up there. My memory was all the fans in coaches mini buses cars even hanging out flags on bridges over M4 , don't think i've ever seen so many Rs fans travelling to a match, including wembley 82.

Got there early and went in a bar opposite the hotel the team were in (probably for lunch) my son saw Langley at his car and RL gave him his shin pads. The bar was great to start with, then the Soul Crew arrived and started having a go at the Rangers or English in there. Decided to look for another pub and found that Cardiff had got into all pubs early and wanted to have a go at anyone including women and kids. Eventually ended up near the Castle and found all the rangers support crammed in to a couple of bars, eventually got a few beers in the Bar Med and then off to the game. What I witnessed before the game has made me hate Cardiff with a vengance.

I quite clearly remember watching it with my brother and my old man! Earnshaw was their best player at the time and I remember being relieved when he got subbed for .... Andy Campbell, I remember my brother saying 'oh he's ****!' when Campbell came on and we all know what happened after that....

                    Loads of memories for me.

The journy up on the official coach was a laugh with my brothers, my dad and a couple of mates. A few beers and general banter about the game ahead.

Got inside the ground and thought it was one of the best i'd visited and to this day still feel it's one of the best. I was overwhelmed at the amount of support we had there and the fact we were far more vocal than the 'home' side. We won the battle of the fans by getting our giant inflated football from one side to the other before the taffs managed it. By that point I was raring to go.

The game was dissapointing as I felt we should have created more as for me, we were the better attacking side. The Tommy Williams incident was harshly critticised for me as if he'd passed and we missed, he'd have been berrated for not taking the shot on. Not many players get into that position and don't take the shot.

The big mistake for me was Danny ****tu not taking out Campbell before his superb finish. There was no time left on the clock and if Dan took him out I feel we'd have survived the remainder of the game even if he'd been sent off. I'll never forget how my head dropped and the Rangers faithful went deadly silent as the ball looped over Day. So dissapointing and gut-wrenching. Possibly one of the worst moments I've ever experienced as a Rangers fan. It really sunk in when walking away between the stadium and the river taff...hearing those fire works going off was enough to bring a tear to my eye (only one of 2 times football has ever got to me that badly).

Walking through the town to the coach and seeing some of our supposed fans punch a Cardiff fan who was walking with his missus and little girl was a crap site. My dad even jumped in and gave two of the Rangers fans a slap for being 'cowardly ****s' as he put it whilst pulling them away.

All in all, I had a great day out despite the result.
                    Your mum would love me...

I was there and remember everyone throwing their beer at the cardiff coach as it drove past all the qpr fans, brilliant!

From talking to my mates who went by coach it was a different experience to those who went by car. By coach you got off near the Castle and into pubs reserved for QPR. But special arrangements for that match was to take the cars off at the earlier juction and then you had to walk through the city centre and groups of 4 or 5 were easy targets for the taffs who were waiting outside every pub with the Hedlu just standing by and watching.

I was there, my memories were:

Having a can of Fosters for breakfast.
Being about as nervous as I ever have been in my whole life.
Singing my heart out from the minute I stepped off the mini bus until the goal went in.
                            QPR wearing all white.
                            Tommy Williams not crossing it.
Big Dan not taking down that ginger tw*t (who's name escapes me) when he had the chance.
Crying over a game of football for the only time in my life.
Getting some sympathy from a few fellow QPR fans (who I'd never met before) when I got back to the local out in the sticks.

All told a great day out but imagine how good it would have been had we won?!!!!

My Pals and I hire a Limo to take us there and back from Chiswick so we set off early doors. 11 of us, about 80 cans of beer, 2 bottles Vodka, a bottle of JD, some mixers and 6 bottles of Champagne kept us company on the way there! Loads of drinking and singing all the way. My mate got crucified for wearing a pair of granddad style sock's which had a hole in it – had to be done! We got to the ground and meet my old college pal who came all the way over from Denmark to watch the game. We walked up and down, outside the stadium, taking in the atmosphere with all the Rangers Fans. Got in the ground early and went an sat in my seat for a few minutes on my own whilst the stadium was fairly empty to savour the moment and take everything in. Then went back down and resumed drinking. Made it back to my seat as the players were coming out. Sang my heart out throughout the game, never stopped only to take in air. Was TOTALLY GUTTED with the result. We then left the stadium walking out with all the Rangers fans to go back to our Limo. As we were walking down the street 3 Cardiff fans came bowling along giving it the big en! I don't condone violence but I so wanted to give this Charlie Big obllocks what for, only for a few other Rangers fans to get there first. I remember in a flash two of their supporters both Sparko on the floor within seconds and then the Police swarmed around them and people saying well that shut them up! Finally made it back to the Limo and begun the long drive home. Coming away from the ground I remember kids aged between 6 and 12 years old chucking stones at our Limo with their parents watching and laughing at them doing so (nice people they were!!). Made it back to Chiswich and as we got out of the Limo down a residential road a few of us were messing about. Within 30 seconds 3 Police vans came wizzing down and stopped us because neighbours were moaning that we were fighting etc... They knew we were Rangers fans and two of them were R's too and all they did was quizzed us about how we played cos they missed the game as they were working! We had a bit of a laugh with them and they then pointed us in the direction of the nearest pub. It went hazey from there on!

I was with Loneranger, drunk far too much the night before in Brizzle. Felt sick all day.

Completely gutted but we will get our revenge, by getting in the prem before them.

How about the Fire Alarm incident at Celtic Manor where the players were staying?

Can't remember Lonerangers chick being all that though:horror:
