I was there, met Rodney Marsh got his autograph, nice stadium was great to see so many qpr there. At the time was a young teenager and remember having abuse hurled at us from drunkard Cardiff fans, when we were walking back through the streets to our car, tarnished my opinion of Cardiff somewhat.

I remember being interviewed by sky outside the millennium stadium saying we were gonna win 5-0 being on sky sports news every 30mins and loads of people calling me about it, then being Impressed my the millennium stadium, then near the end of the game that player we had on loan from birmingham going on a run and only having to pass the ball to score but shooting and hitting the side netting then lying on the floor crying, then the LONG drive home
I still have the play off T shirt in the draw God knows why

i remember the services on the way down full of rangers

for some funny reason i remember mike mclean doing half time entertainment

and then two names that stand out. tommy williams and andy campbell for obvious reasons

waiting for the park and ride after hearing the fireworks as they lift the trophy. and then being greeted by a few welsh at the bridge .

i would love it if we get cardiff in the playoff final next season.

I was there and got back to the Bush ranger in no time at all from Hillsborough to join those who had been unable to go and had watched it on the screen at Loftus road.
I was pleased my mate put his foot down so we could celebrate promotion in our neck of the woods.

Yes. Drove up to Bristol Parkway and got the train in with two mates; a Canadian Pompey fan and a Ginger PalARSE fan.

Started drinking in the make shift outside hotel bars before the rain started then had an award winning idea of 'popping into Pizza Express for a meal and a few beers'. Two and a half hours later (the pizza only took about half an hour of that) we stumbled to the stadium in our seats in the Gods.

Was next to a couple, the wife who was Rangers and the husband Chelscum, but when roundly booed, it emerged that there were at least four other Chelscum in the vicinity. As we all know, we hate them and they couldn't give a toss about us; many even have the dreaded 'soft spot' for us - wnakers!

Remember Lisa Rogers was bigging up the Taffs on the big screen before the game and remember the size of those peanuts she was smuggling in her bra on the big screen - nice!

Made lots of noise and generally started to sober up about half way through the second half.

Remember being confident ALL the way through until Tommy's run. "Pull it back, pull it back. WTF didn't he pull it back; anyone?"

Remember Big Dan getting caught out for the only time during the whole game - good finish to be honest.

Then it was inevitable, so we started the trudge back. Got to the train station to be faced with the queue - the waiting was so bad after losing. Then I remember the Cardiff ****s that came and taunted us in front of the plod; took so much to stay in the line.

Then got back to the Travel Lodge in Bristol, moped around for about half an hour with my mates before a 'F-this, let's get pished'. Kicked off the night with a couple of triples and then headed into Bristol. Back to the hotel for some more drinks and banter with Sheffield U fans.

Woke up in a trashed room with no memory how it happened.

Made a quick escape and knew that it didn't really matter 'cos we were bound to romp the division the next season, weren't we????

No wonder you got back in no time from Hillsborough. We were all coming back from Cardiff!!!
I remember the Cardiff fans being the most unsporting winners, the bigeest bunch on t**ssers going after the game, when getting back to the car. God knows what they would have been like if we had won!

I was there too, remember train from Paddington loaded with Rangers and beers, remember being very impressed with the stadium, remember the scum cardiff fans outside the ground when we were going back to the stadium, then what seemed like a very long journey home, helped by a few more beers then pub to drown sorrows when back in town!

Remember being staggered that so many Cardiff fans left before their trophy etc had been presented, didnt stay to celebrate, and being taunted by them.
These were just ordinary people too, not yobs.
