  • In 50 years of watching the R'S

This must be, without doubt, the most 'Low Key' Preseason ever. Just hope they know what they are doing. Not one decent quality team amongst the opposition. Barnsley will seem like Real Madrid.

Player contracts don't end until 30/6 and we have already signed one first team player and two squad forwards....

Perhaps you can tell the Board that you'd like to see the bigger players signed first and we'll pick up what's left two days before KO.

Is old age making you impatient?

I was going to Devon on 10th July before the tour was announced, so It couldn't be any better for me.

Signings area, Warnock said bigger players will sign In July and IMO Paddy Kenny Is an extremly exiting signing.
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

yeah agree knocker, fixtures are very strange. surely it would make more sense in mixing up the level of oppo from low to start with & then build up to say a prem team with last fixture to ensure the players are up to the correct fitness levels & competiveness to start the season proper.

but thats qpr for you sadly

it is an odd line up.
but maybe he wants to bed in and let them try and gel the nearly new whole side together against easier opposition before unleashing them on their promotion onslaught.

And then when they meet the likes of Barnsley they will be well prepared.

I'm more interested to know who is going, end of the day by Friday we would have had 6 in, so someone must be going.

I know what you mean, but i remember seeing us get taken to bits by Celtic the other year, don't think that helped us.
I have also been watching the Rs for about 50 years, so we will both have seen us have great pre-seasons followed by rubbish seasons, and rubbish pre-seasons followed by great seasons. And every other combination possible!
Still think we will have a game against stronger opposition at some point, but I'm notbothered either way
