England have only beaten Paraguay, Belgium, Cameroon, Denmark and Ecuador in the knock out stages of the worldcup since 1966. Cant compete with top nations when it matters..facts dont lie

Englands Future...
...just watched the last 25 mins of the game inept doesnt even begin to describe it, we looked like schoolboys out there. this lot should never pull on a england shirt again, they have had years to prove they can achieve something - and time and time again they havent. tournament after tournament they have FAILED!
time to bring in the next generation - hart, gosling, onouha, cahill, huddlestone, milner, young, walcott, rodwell. the FUTURE. let them play, let them grow, they will form a TEAM, unlike this bunch of overpaid wasters.
it cannot simply lie at the managers door for the blame. too many have come and gone with this group for it to be their fault. time to let the players take the blame. they are pathetic.
maybe capello should go, maybe not, but it is clear problems lie deeper than that. our whole football structure needs changing, young players simply are not coming through enough. the premier league is to blame for that.
the football centre at burton MUST be built, a place to house and develop these young players and coaches. we need to install a english way of playing, passing and moving, not kick and hope.
it is time for the england team to change. bring in these young players, they will develop, just like thee german team have been doing during the past 4 years. the future:
-------------------------HART---------------------------
GOSLING--------CAHILL---ONOUHA-----GIBBS
MILNER-------RODWELL---HUDDLESTONE----JOHNSON
----------------WALCOTT---AGBONLAHOR------------------------
then you also have the likes of wilshere, young, richards etc... following through aswell. it is time to change. lets accept we will have limited success whilst these players develop, but it is time to change and bring them in, we will get rewards 5-10yrs down the line.Last edited by JudoRanger; 29-06-2010, 09:13 AM.Queens Park Rangers Til I Die!

Football at top level is about fine lines and this england side aside we've played well against top teams. Penalties are luck at the end of the day not a sign of great football

And discuss how the owners should spend, the tight gits. We're a stable club now and are at least looking at spending rather than selling players. Only someone who always looks at the negative could moan about them not spending their own money. Not a great character trait!
