FIFA like England FA have group people that say they running the game but not one of them have a brain cell between them. Ever one with a brain cell knows we should have video tech. Also ever one knows you don't give a new contact to manager who has 2 years left on his present contact any change expect the length unless your liverpool

Why not have goal line technology like they have in Tennis, I believe a player can in one match have 5 appeals on whether the ball is in or out, after that they get on with it, Let the Football do the same with say 2 appeals each team and see how they get on - a lot fairer I believe

I can't see the reason why there is resistance to the idea of goal line technology, other than traditionalism, or that it may slow the game down.
I would like to take it one stage further with the 4th official being miked up to the referee and having access to video replay. This could only be called upon by the referee for "big" decisions where there is doubt in his mind. To use the two most recent examples, it would have taken a matter of seconds for the 4th official to view the replay of Fat Frank's goal or the offside for the goal against Mexico and relay the information to the ref. Could also be used for the ref to consult before showing a red card or awarding a penalty.
A close second to this would be the extra officials as per the Europa league.
