The problem with televised footie for clubs like ours, especially in the winter is that you get lazy fans who would rather stay in and watch it on the box rather than go to the games, i understand away games but not home games.
The only positive for televised games is when you have to work so would not make it in time for the game or if travel restricts you.
Also the bigger games they usually show are ones when support is needed, so it's just not an excuse.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

I can see what you are saying Casual, but for someone like me i have to pick my games now because of family, mortgage etc so live games are a bonus for me. From the age of about 12 til 32 when my oldest was born i went all over the country to see Rangers play, places i would prob of never visited had it not been for QPR. I used to be in a mood for days when the R's lost( yeah very frequant i know!) and i spent all my dough on Rangers and boozing at games. I dont say that to try and be clever, its the truth. But now i have two little girls i just cant afford to go week in week out, i prob only go to 10-12 games a year now if im honest.
Sorry for my life story but wanted to get my point across.

When i did pick and choose though, not once did i think i won't go as i can stay in the warm and watch the game as they're now showing it on TV. I am sure there are many fans which would though even if they did have the money or no reason not to, so i suppose it's these fans i'm getting at.
But everyone has a choice so hey, ho!Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011
