think we should organise a penalty shoot out to settle this one. my prediction is clarke will win it after 10 efforts each (winning 1-0 with Robert Green after a few pints in goal). Unfortuntely Clarke's joy will be marred when he breaks his toe by kicking an advertising hording in celebration...

I will get shot and I know that no one will believe me but I think he will score at least 15 goals. He will also be our best signing.
He has more ability than dexter blackstock and he will definately suprise a few.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Stain this is my point, I am normally seen as negative although I would say I am normally realistic.
Anyway I do stick with the above statement regarding Clarke.
I have seen him play for sheff wed a few times and he has all the attributes to become a success. I also think Warnock is the right manager to make him a complete striker.
He is a striker that we have been lacking for years. Many seem ok with Mackie, yet I see Clarke as a shrewd buy.

im with you all the way on this. i think clarke is going to the best buy we have made in decades.
just got this really good feeling about him, that he is going to be a proper star, ala les ferdinand (not as good, but a real shocker when he becomes our best player for years)

hope you are right. but he's not exactly hooper and hulse, is he???? I fear he is a bit more like the emile heskey of the vauxhall conference...

his goal in a massive game against Palace shows me he has class.

He tooks his goal really well and he has a great touch for a big man.

You will be pleasantly suprised but I will take the flack if I am wrong but I really think he will be our top goal scorer and he is 25 so room for improvment and in his prime. Alot more mobile than hulse and will get better so I would rather him than hulse.

i know it sounds proper eggy to say this, but ive also always had a liking for players who do things like kick the advertising hoardings etc, love that sort of pasion. (alright alright, breaking his foot was an epic fail, but i still like players who do stuff like that)

                              :sorry:

have we ever had anyone like that down the bush? cant remember, but i have got a class a riddled memory, dont even recognise my first ex mrs if i see her out and about and she says hello.
