Not going to lose sleep over these two not coming.I doubt Ambrose will even get to double figures next season and as for over the hill midfield plodders we have a specialist skill in signing them so im sure there will be another coming along shortly.

Im trying to think of names out there who could replace taarabt for ability and actually be a sensible/likely target to get..
Ambrose deal rubbish has gone on long enough, and although he comes across as a decent player hes not the be all and end all, we can attract just as good as him from elsewhere.
Simpson: i liked simpson, thought he was a decent forward when he was played in his correct position, wouldnt mind seeing him back, but again there are plenty more options just as good as him out there, just depends on the same question we have all be asking ourselves for the past 2 summers? Will our board stump up the cash for two top strikers to get us out this division, jury is out.Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

I honestly don't think we need Ambrose, a fit Buzz and Faurlin are better ( as they showed at Selhurst). What we do need is a replacement for Mahon or Rowlands if they don't come back and as we all know we need quality up front and and a left back.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

Darren Ambrose
Crystal Palace to Queens Park Rangers - The Insider says: 4/5 Crossing London: Ambrose is heading to Loftus Road
New manager George Burley is keen to keep the better players left in his squad and Ambrose has a proven Championship record where he has scored bundles of goals.
However, negotiations with QPR are well down the line and the player is determined to follow former manager Neil Warnock to Loftus Road.
Palace's financial troubles cleared the field for the club's players to talk to other clubs as they feared for their own security and professional future.
Ambrose, Shaun Derry and Clint Hill are all keen to move on. Ambrose in particular, as manager Neil Warnock said, has already shaken hands on a deal and QPR agreed a £1m fee so expect the transfer to be done for that price.
The 26-year-old believes QPR can be one of the main promotion candidates this season and is keen to grab his chance while he can.
