  • John Terry a Grass, surprise surprise he's Chelsea.

JT in meeting last night thinks of no.1 as usual.
Grassing up all other players and not actually confronting Capello re the real concerns.

What a ****, and a Chelsea one at that.

Taking aside the fact that he’s chelsea’s captain, I think he’s acted well after the defeat. He’s come out and said the right things. He’s also the one of the few players we can’t really criticize for their performances.
How has he thought of no. 1?

At least Terry has guts, unlike the other spineless ******s wearing the England shirt.

Exactly. Going in to the WC, him and ashley cole were the 2 I disliked the most. But they've been the only 2 who have performed to anywhere near their ability on the pitch.

Of all the players to hammer you pick JT? Hes probably only one of 2-3 who have actually showed some passion and a desire to win over the last 2 games. Just because he is Chelsea dont have a go at him when there are others who deserve the abuse much much more.

What about Gerrard, sulking because he had to play on the left, or Lampard, sulking because he knows in an England shirt he would not hit water if he fell out of a boat or Rooney, sulking because he has to play with Hesky, or Lennon/SWP, sulking because they can get past a shite defender and cross a ball or ...........................

I don't disagree that he has given his all but what's all this about, have you listened to what supposedly happened, he was supposed to wait until the rest of the team had their meeting, but took it upon himself to grass up who was out on Fri night after the game and is now in the **** with lots of the players who were not prepared for this.
imo now causing more unease and disruption amongst the squad.

Ok he has apparantly led the push to get John Cole back which I agree with but it's how he has made the other players feel makes me question what he has done.

“how he has made the other players feel”?? the poor loves. This is the world cup and they're representing their country. I don’t care whether he told capello that he’s the only player who respects him now. Firstly it’s all hearsay, no one knows what actually happened or is happening. Secondly, he’s come out and said the right things. All I care about is that they show some passion next game, the result is second to that. John Terry has been the only player to admit that they lacked passion and it was unacceptable. He’s also said he’s here to win a world cup for England…….not that boredom, lonely rubbish we seem to here from everyone else. They should get on that pitch on Wednesday and run and tackle until they can’t move, sweat blood for their country. Terry will do that. Can you be so certain about the others?

Totally agree. This is the worst Ingerland side I have seen in many years in terms of quality and their workrate, attitude is terrible.

Terry is one of the few players who can hold his head high and he isn't afraid to face the media and tell it how it is rather than spout standard BS. Of the rest in my view only Johnson and Lennon (neither of who I have particularly rated prior to WC) have shown any spark.

I don't blame Capello. We have been heading for humiliation as a footballing nation for years now. Decades of players who care less and less about the honour of playing for their country and more about their own self interest. A said reflection on the material nature of the society we have created.

Damm - I am agreeing Mr Fox.
I watched the England Rugby in the morning ...a week after a not very good performance V the Aussies - our Rugby Union side showed a lot more passion this week and won a very entertaining game.

Our footballers - look like they cannot be bothered to be there. They may not like the National anthem - but have some respect for it and sing it.

Once again - i have to agree about Ashley Cole and John Terry. For a few - this could be theier last World Cup and they are walking around ...like zombies.Shame..look at New Zealand...

If Terry and Gerrard squared up to each other after training, who do you think would be the last one standing. I think that Terry would smash that weasel sounding scouse ****** all over Africa.

gerrards the hardest in the squad. so other way round mate.

and am i thick in thinking that the senior players and stars near enough pick their own side, and that rooney asks to play with heskey rather than crouch or defoe?
cos i seriously cant see any other reason a 6 million dollar man would leave out a man who has scored 5 in 9 for his team.

Strange that one.In a season where Rooney has flourished by being the sole striker, having had 2-3 years playing off Ronaldo, why would he insist in having a strike partner up front with him?

cos the manager might of said
'i get six million a year, so i want to play two srtikers, please let me have that one input. but you lot are the bosses so you can chose who it is'?
