I don't understand why you would not want to read a supporter's opinion on a player, team, or club, whomever they support. I feel if option 3 was to be chosen, it would end up in not much views or debate being expressed between the two clubs, as it would very much be restricted to 'banter'. Which, of course, is fine in small amounts, but too much becomes repetitive and boring.

Your last comment is interesting-if this forum, or any other forum, was ran by posters voting in a poll for most decisions, there would be no need for mods, and subsequently any forum would decline pragmatically. If it wasn't your vote that is winning would you still have the same view?

Your views are appreciated, and by voting no.3 i'm not saying you should go completely, just that you should have your own section, (you do on your site) therefore if readers feel they want to read your posts then there is a place to go to see them, (anything of any interest someone will post a link anyway) i just don't want every tom, **** or harry posting on in house posts that really you should not be commenting on QPR related subjects which have nothing to do with you anyway, and i am not saying you personally do, but other palace fans on here tend to have a view on everything, what's wrong isn't your own site interesting enough?

And re my last comment, Surely you have noticed that, we do have mods and nothing would change without them anyway, Also yes i would still have the same views whoever was winning on the poll, I couldn't care if i was the only one, it is my view.

I welcome other supporters posting on here, often have a different take or new information. Why ban it? There is the occasional idiot from other clubs but dare I say it our own support can look like a slightly mixed bag on occasion. Live and let live.

I don't get this argument for QPR fans that they should have the choice on here upon whether they see other fans' posts-why? We are all civilized people here, I'm sure most can live with seeing another supporter post without descending into a fit of rage and cloud of insults. In my opinion, by all means ban those opposition supporters who come here only to troll, and I do(to some extent) understand why some would be provoked by an opposition supporter trolling, but it seems a few are provoked by the mere point that another supporter is posting, rather than what they are posting. In my opinion, a poster should be judged on their posts, and banned according to that rather than what team they support or what reactions they instigate off people because of it.

Well you see that very few people have voted number 2, i.e. banning. Most have no problem with you or anyone else from another club who stays civil. It is just that we are thinking whether having such a special/restricted section is worth the bother, extra moderation and the technical side of it. We shall see...

Like I say, I really don't see the harm in allowing civilized opposition fans into the QPR section of WATRB. Creating an 'Away Fans' section would only increase the trolls who come to the site, and decrease the useful viewpoints given from opposition fans in the QPR section.

I do remember my one and only time posting on a Crystal Palace board I didn't exactly feel like I was dealing with the assembled masses of Mensa. Not having a go at Palace - every club has their idiots but I often find it more interesting hearing a reasonably minded poster such as Jams from another club than 20 members from our own club rehearsing the same old arguments.

If fans are not trolling,and our fans don't deliberately bait/abuse them,it should work fairly ok.And as we are gonna be probably half Palace by kick off then they will feel at home here anyway.

Jams just answer me a few questions. What is this fascination with our site and club? Is it just us, or do you post as much on other teams sites too and if so, what else do you do as you must lead a boring life.
Why do you not just admit it that you are a closet QPR supporter, i and many others (apart from Palace fans probably) would not blame you if you changed, we all had to grow up and realize our mistakes we had made at one time in our life.

A: No fascination at all. I've outlined my reasons many times-your club and my club have been linked for the last 4 months, and even moreso now with the Ambrose transfer saga, Colin still coming back in for our players and Hill and Derry leaving. I've given my views about this when asked, and when I feel fit and it would be useful to yourselves. I think it's been appreciated on the whole, and as such I can engage in reasonably good football debate and conversation.

Q: Is it just us?

A: Yes, this is the only opposition one I post on fairly regularly. Mainly because of the amount of Palace talk in here, and I do also post on a Palace one.

Q: What else do you do? As you must lead a boring life.

A: Not at all mate, but like I've said before, I'd prefer this over revision or homework.
