The Aussies, sorry, Socceroos were awful. Wanted to see them do well for the future of real football here down under. Obviously, still want England to win the world cup and still think we have a chance--if Green is dropped.

In most other sports especially cricket I always want whoever is playing the Aussies to win, but would love to see football become the dominant sport here. Won't happen though. Aussie Rules and Rugby are too ingrained as is cricket.

Why did capello take Carragher i don't want to play for England again over Gary Neville...who can also double up as a centre half.....and before dawson...

Take SWP over Adam Johnson.Granted Johnson is un tried....but has a natural left foot..something we are lacking.

Not even have a look at a very good Scott parker but insist on persisting with carrick.

Once again overlook a Natural goalscorer over a big heft lump.

Play Joe Cole in friendly and by all accounts look good and then decide to start with Milner and then SWP.

Up to and just before the World Cup..i had a lot of faith in Capello who picked players on form....yeah right...
