We do need one as badly as we need a new CF. Who would be your choice?

I wanīt Tosic. What is Glasgow compared to London, SPL vs Championship, another year in SPL vs the possibility to be in the Prem 2012, Haggis vs the English cuisine ...(well thatīs a tough one...)

He will go to celtic for the wages and we won't and can't compete in that department.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

as its looking very unlikely that we wont get Tosic, then i would try to get Lee Naylor(contract is due to run out very soon with celtic) or Surman from wolves would be a very good signing & by the sounds of it is available at the right price.

I think it'll be Clint Hill starting the season at left back. Would love it to be Tosic but we can't compete with the premiership clubs that want him.

What about Dean Lewington at the MK Dons? Natural left back and has been their best player for years now. Surprised a higher league club hasn't ever come in for him.

If we canīt get Tosic I would love to find one from the lower divisions. We need a natural lefty at LB. Gives our team another dimension.

Dean Lewington's Dad Ray smashing in an equalizer for Fulham at CC in a 1-1 draw circa 1983.... Super Simon Stainrod had put us 1up with a snorter too from memory.... loads of R's in the away end back in the day!!!!

its Clint "three balls"* Hill. We've got to get over it. Time for the grieving to stop and move on. If Cumbria can do it, so can we.

*three balls because the first two he will boot out of the ground Ernie Howe style half way to Shepherds Bush Green.

Looks like Clint Hill. How about Surman? Wolves have said he is surplus to requirements and sheffield utd are preparing a bid

If we got any ambition, we should sign him. celtic would be a step down for him IMO

makes me sad to think that he turned down a GREAT player who wanted to PLAY for us

I think it is a question of price really, or should I say wages?

Isnīt Celtic and GR hoping for places in the prem? In that way, Celtic is an attractive club to play for. On top of that they have every opportunity to reach CL. fotball on a quite regular basis.

But still. Hereīs hope. He IS class.
