I love the World Cup.Not just because England are there, i just love watching football and the World Cup Esp.

As far as England are concerned,I shall be supporting them from the off and like when I go to all QPR game's I will be expecting them to win.

In reality, we have just as good a chance as any one, if we perform in the tournament.I do not think we are the best team at the moment, but then the best team doesn't always win....if that makes sense (Greece Euro's spring to mind)

I am dissappionted by some of Capello's selections - but that's history now.

Can't wait till Saturday - as watching England games, be it Rugby football, are always good night outs at my local....

I also love the following.

1-People who hate football...already moaning about the World Cup - because eastenders or Corrie is not at normal time

2- The mass of English people who seem to hate England and hate the English Football team even more

3 - The media who hype us up and then hang us out to dry if / when we fail

can we win? I have no idea..but i'm going to enjoy the ride...and if we do....a big two fingers up at the above 3...

Yeah yeah i know i cant actually right FACT, but i have.
all the people on here tipping them to win it make me laugh. they are so poor and capello has lost it.
our form is terrible, rooneys acting like kevin the teenager, two of our best players are out and the manager doesnt even know his first eleven.
spain won 6-0 last night using the team they are planning to start with and play with throughout the tournament. thats how you do it, not what sven capello has been doing. hes mucked it up and we will be the same old same old.
quarters is the MOST we can accept, and if we do, we should be ecstatic, cos that will be a feat.

This has got to be the most stupid post for a long time. Look a the record of Capello for England, its pretty much flawless. Rooney Kevin the teenager?, he is one of the most professional players on the world stage now and few choice f words to a friendly local ref doesnt mean hes 'kevin the teenager'.

Capello has said today he already knows his first 11.

I do feel that England always tend to choke in the massive games but this manager is one of the best and will provide the best chance.

if you thought he gained anything whatsoever by them friendlies except to confuse the players and make them less confident then thats up to you. i class that as bad managing.
and forget the swearing, even tho he will get sent off for that, kev the teens head went in the japan game as well, he would get sent off for that sort of shite challenge as well.

I'm with you, although i'm England thru and thru and would love to see us win it. I don't think we will, i hope i'm proved wrong.

And as for Capellos record, ok so he was almost unbeaten, but look who against, it wasn't exactly the hardest of groups was it, and as for the recent friendlies, lol.
I think the only real games we did play against good opposition Brazil & Ukraine we were played off the park and lost.
