i went to a wedding during the world cup one year when england were playing (it was at ealing golf club and could of been the euros tho), and they had it on a big screen during the reception before the disco and it was one of the best doos ever. everyone was well revved up and had a great night.

If you think he won't have the game on at the venue, I think you're sorely mistaken. He's an avid fan. His missus clearly loves the sport as she goes to many of his games. His team mates, manager and other footballing friends will all want to see the game so it'll be on.
Congrats Lee. Let's hope it's a double celebration.Your mum would love me...

in all fairness lets all stop being stupid about this. cookie is a real ranger, what he did for his and our club should never be forgotten. wherever he is next season i hope he succeeds but mostly i wish him well for his wedding on saturday.
To Lee and his future wife best wishesLast edited by superhooper; 09-06-2010, 08:04 AM.

His missus always used to come in the LSA club when we were over at the White City. I remembered her face for years and then suddenly saw her with Cookie one day a few years later. Small world. I have no idea what the girl is called (maybe Rachel??), but the old man is a big Rangers fan (maybe Wycombe area???) and you see him all the time at a lot of away games as well. They used to sit near me in the Upper Loft. They may have moved from the Upper Loft now.
Good luck to the both of them. Let's hope Cookie gets his form sorted and has a good season.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
